Basic situation of Dangjia village in hancheng city
Gu Lou Village, a Dangjia Village in Hancheng, which is more than 600 years ago, has been listed as an "international traditional resident research project" and Dangjia Village as a "historical and cultural protection village" in Shaanxi Province.
There are more than 0/00 sets of "Siheyuan"/KLOC-built 600 years ago, well-preserved castles, back roads, Feng Shui pagodas, chastity archways, ancestral halls, shaolou and other buildings, as well as village history, which are called by experts as living fossils of traditional oriental houses.
There are "wells", "t" and "crosses" in the streets of the village. The houses paved with bluestone are mostly "quadrangles" and "three courtyards".
It has been 626 years since Dongyang Bay 1364 was renamed Dangjia Village. These ancient buildings are enduring and well preserved. According to the survey of architects, first, the natural conditions are superior. The village is located in a long and narrow valley, and the north-south platform is as high as 40 meters. It not only weakens the attack of the northwest monsoon, but also makes the cool breeze blow along the valley in summer, which is the ideal advantage of warm winter and cool summer. In addition, because the red clay in the northern tableland and the white clay in the southern tableland are dust-free, the ancient buildings in Dangjia Village have been spotless for hundreds of years by bloodletting to purify the air.
The integrity of Dangjia Village is related to the attention and protection of successive governments and people. Today, there are 333 households 1300 people in Dangjia Village, but half a century has passed, and the houses have basically not been demolished and rebuilt. It retains the original architectural form and is the largest, oldest and best-preserved ancient village found in Shaanxi. Professor Charles of the Royal Institute of Architecture believes that the oriental architectural culture is in China and the architectural culture of China residents is in Hancheng.
Shaanxi Province has included the development and construction of the ancient village of Dangjia Village in the province's "Eighth Five-Year Plan" tourism development. After repair and maintenance, it will become an important tourist spot on the "Yellow River Tour" tourist line.
