The hospital has a leading level of medical technology. In recent years, it has successfully carried out cerebrospinal fluid drainage with lateral ventricle puncture for intraventricular hemorrhage, percutaneous ureteroscopy with pneumatic lithotripsy, minimally invasive removal of intracranial hematoma, and resuscitation surgery. 84 new businesses and technologies, including pediatric cerebral palsy rehabilitation treatment and pacemaker installation, have filled the city’s medical gaps. In May 2011, with the approval of the Henan Provincial Department of Health, the hospital was renamed Dengzhou Central Hospital.
In May 2013, Dengzhou Central Hospital (formerly Dengzhou First People’s Hospital) moved to No. 1166 Tuanjie East Road, Dengzhou City, to the west of the Municipal Public Security Bureau.
