3． Mountaineering itinerary:

Day 1 Wudang Mountain Railway Station-Wulong Palace, about 20-22 kilometers, the whole journey is expected to take 5 hours.

Wudangshan Railway Station - 0.5KM - Laobai Highway, bus station, to the left - about 3KM - Hao (HAO) exit, on the left, the entrance to Wulong Highway, with an elevated railway bridge above, Wudang Mountain Long Highway is along the river - 5 or 5KM - Lujiazhai Village (you can find a guide for 10-20 yuan). There is a bridge. The highway crosses the bridge to the left and goes around the mountain behind. Just cross the bridge, take the path up the mountain on the left side of the village, and go straight. - About 35 minutes - You can see the road again, keep going straight, pass by the wall of the hut - 5 minutes - Tie Ma Feng, meet the road, there is a monument on the right, turn right ahead and get off the road, super shortcut, you can see the road below - About 10 minutes - meet the highway again, turn right, and walk along the highway. Below the left side of the highway is the Renweiguan ruins, only the foundation - about 15 minutes - after passing a corner, there is an inscription "Butterfly Valley" on the right side - about 20 minutes Minutes - Renwei Temple is behind you. There are several houses on the roadside. On the right side of the house, turn left off the road, go downhill along the ravine, and start climbing. - About 25 minutes - Halfway up the mountain, there are countless stones. At the end of the road on the left, go up and you will see a small temple in front of you. This is Yin Xianyan (be sure to ask for directions) - Go left, go up the mountain to the right at the small fork, and cross the mountain. After going down the mountain on the right side, there are abandoned house foundations on the roadside. Then go over the mountain and pass by the hut. You will see someone’s house (ask for directions). Go down the mountain in front and then up another mountain. There are steps on the mountain road. It is an ancient Shinto road -***5KM- Wulong Palace.

Day 2 Wulonggong-Nanyan, about 12-13 kilometers, the whole journey is expected to take 4 hours.

Find a guide (must) at Wulong Palace to lead the way for about an hour or the whole journey - about 70 minutes - go to the right, there are large rocks dripping with water, go down and to the right, cross the river, enter the woods and go to the right Climbing the mountain - about 70 minutes - finally saw the TV tower of Nanyan again - about 10 minutes - a farmhouse, going up the mountain on the left rear - about 40 minutes - Beitianmen, you can see many temples in Nanyan - about 15 minutes - Nanyan Palace (Tour) - About 10 minutes - Go up the mountain and find the hotel. Take a bus to Zixiao Palace (2 yuan) and then take a bus back.

Day 3 Nanyan-Jinding, about 10 kilometers, the entire journey is expected to take 3 hours.

The whole journey of stone steps is divided into two in front of Chaotian Palace. The new road on the left is easier to walk, while the Shinto on the right is difficult but has unlimited scenery at the dangerous peak. Climb the Golden Summit, visit the Golden Palace, then take the ropeway down the mountain to Qiongtai, where you can take a bus down the mountain (15 yuan, the same price as the buns, but more dangerous)

Note:

A From Wudangshan Railway Station, you can pack two small buns to go to Wulong Palace. The gravel road is about 25KM, 70-100 yuan, and ends at Jiangjun Temple (Yinxianyan). Then walk 5KM to Wulong Palace. You can combine the 1 or 2-day trip into 1 day, but it rains heavily and continuously for the next day, and the road may not be open to traffic. You can also take the bus from Shiyan to Haokou (1 yuan), saving you a few miles.

B In case of moderate rain or above, we will abandon the first and second days of the itinerary and instead take the bus from Wudangshan Railway Station to Zixiao Palace (10 yuan) and then walk to Nanyan (you can take a small road, unknown) , continuing the itinerary on the third day. Or take a bus and go down Mozhenjing·Taizi Slope, and then walk up the mountain (mileage unknown).

Admission to another mountain is 41 yuan, but the entrance fee to Wulong Palace for hiking is 2 yuan.

6． Others:

If you live in Xiangfan, you can visit the North Gate City Wall and Antique Street by the Han River, but Gulongzhong is not worth visiting.
