Each floor is slightly tapered and the shape is tall and straight. It is a typical Ming Dynasty Feng Shui tower. In 1984, it was repaired in the year of war and the tower brake was restored. In 1997, it was announced as a Zhejiang Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Unit.
