Where is the Kaolin Mine Ruins Park?
Kaolin Mine Site Park consists of Gaoling Site and Immobile Ancient Street. Gaoling Immobile is the first batch of famous historical and cultural villages in Jiangxi Province. Among them, Gaoling is a famous porcelain raw material producing area in ancient China, and also a world-famous "Kaolin" named place.
Immobile is the distribution center of Jingdezhen kaolin, glass and other porcelain-making raw materials in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and is known as the "source of the Maritime Silk Road". Today, there are still relatively complete ancient streets, shops and docks here, and it is the location shooting place of movies such as "Sparkling Red Star". The whole ancient street is divided into Shangjie, Zhongjietou and Xiajie. This street is three meters wide. The street is paved with bluestone and granite, and there are many shops on both sides of the street. There used to be a pier on the east and west sides of the old street, but now only the pier on the east side is well preserved.
Gaoling Site is the core area of Kaolin Mine Site Park, and the tour starts from the "Ancient Road". The ancient road was built in Song Dynasty, with a length of 2.5 kilometers and a width of 2 meters. It is all paved with granite and has 5600 steps. In the past 200 years, miners have transported carts of kaolin to the immobile wharf and then to Jingdezhen through this road. After 200 years of mining, Gaoling Mountain has left many excavation sites, and the ancient pit is one of the most remarkable features. There are hundreds of ancient pits in Gaoling Mountain, four of which are well preserved.
Kaolin Mine Ruins Park, a treasure trove of geomantic omen, is not only the capital of ceramics, but also the venue of Jinshi, Anti-Japanese Mobilization Conference, Red Army Guerrilla Ruins, commercial streets in Ming and Qing Dynasties, ancient docks and ancient streets, which demonstrate the prosperity of the past.

Special tips
The houses along the river are all built facing the street and the river. The building is a diaojiao building, which has the flavor of Fenghuang ancient town in western Hunan. There are few tourists here because the transportation is not very convenient. They like the old streets and love to be quiet. Don't miss it.
