Jingxi Travel Guide What are the fun attractions in Jingxi?

In Guangxi, between the mountains and rivers of China and Vietnam, there is such a small border town called Jingxi. It is an independent and beautiful town like a peach garden. So what are the interesting attractions in this mountain and border town? Let me introduce them to you. Come and take a look. Quyang Lake

Quyang Lake is a large karst plateau lake reservoir located 28 kilometers northwest of Jingxi County. It is surrounded by mountains and water and is known as Guilin on the Water.

The most common way to visit Quyang Lake is by boat, self-driving or cycling. The boat ticket is 60 yuan per person. We originally planned to ride around the lake, but when we arrived at the scenic spot, we were told that the rental staff was on holiday that day and could not rent a car.

So we did something that few people would do—hiking around the lake. Love Waterfall Group Goose Spring

On the bus to Love Waterfall Group, because the bus did not reach the scenic spot, before departure, the driver told us in his gentle voice that we can walk one kilometer from the intersection where we get off. Saw the Love Falls.

The Love Waterfalls have not been developed as a scenic spot. There are overgrown weeds on both sides of the path. In terms of scenery, it is naturally not as good as the Detian Waterfall. But it is precisely because of this that unlike many scenic spots, there are more tourists than locals.

For the houses at the foot of the mountain, there are golden rice fields in front of the door, and some people have smoke from cooking. There are young people speeding by on motorcycles and farmers going out to do farm work on the road. I can't help but think of Tao Yuanming's "The Peach Blossom Spring". Gulong Mountain Canyon Group

Because the train was delayed for 5 hours, it was already late at night when we arrived in Jingxi. Our original plan to go to Dalongtan to watch the sunset in the evening was ruined. Take a stroll in the cool night and comfort yourself with some barbecue noodles. Get up early the next morning, take a tricycle to the South Passenger Transport Station, take the shuttle bus to Hurun Town, and get off at the intersection of Gulong Mountain Canyon Group and Tongtian Grand Canyon.

The Gulongshan Canyon Group consists of three canyons: Gulao Grand Canyon, Xinling Grand Canyon and Xinqiao Grand Canyon. The scenic spot is right at the intersection where you get off the bus. Most tourists take rafts and go through three underground river caves: Yingbin Cave, Baifu Cave and Shuiliandong Cave.

I chose a very niche hiking route, so niche that I was the only one walking this route. A conductor and a driver from the scenic area made a special trip to drive me there, and then opened the iron gate for me to go hiking. Walk down the steps down the canyon to the exit of Momofuku Cave.

Going downstream along the riverside plank road, you will see the original ecological vine rock river all the way. When you see the beautiful waterfall hanging down from the cliff, you will arrive at the entrance of Shuilian Cave. There are about two to three kilometers of underground rivers and plank roads inside Shuilian Cave. It’s a bit scary to walk in the isolated underground cave for half an hour in the dark and cold with only bats for company. Exiting the cave entrance is the end of rafting, and there is a shuttle bus back to the entrance of the scenic spot. Psychic Grand Canyon

Among Jingxi’s scenic spots, Psychic Grand Canyon is the most famous and the most expensive, and I personally feel that the price/performance ratio is relatively low. It was two kilometers away from the intersection. I hooked up with a rafting boatman in the Gulong Mountain Canyon for 10 yuan and took his motorcycle there. After entering the scenic spot, go down the steps to the bottom of the canyon. Walk a short distance along the river and you will see the waterfall flowing down the cliff. You can also walk along the plank road to the cave inside the mountain wall. The roar of the waterfall is deafening. , you will get wet accidentally. The return journey is to go through the underground cave and then take the shuttle bus back to the entrance of the scenic spot. Quyang Lake Cycling

The online guide said that there are relatively few shuttle buses to Quyang Lake and there are no fixed times, and I really want to cycle around Quyang Lake. After checking with the hotel front desk, I discovered that there are bicycles for rent. This is probably a benefit brought by the local promotion of tourism and cycling.

So I planned to ride 26.4 kilometers from Jingxi to Quyang Lake, then cycle 30 kilometers around the lake, and then ride back to Jingxi. Thinking about it, I was really too young and naive, thinking that I had the experience of riding 200 kilometers in a single day, and now I can ride 100 kilometers, but I paid a heavy price for it.

After unremitting efforts in communication, I found a bicycle from the hotel warehouse. It is actually a mountain bike with variable speed. I must have been lonely for a long time, and finally met me today. I pushed my bike around to find a repair shop, pumped up enough energy, and started to hit the road. Soon, due to lack of riding exercise and uncomfortable seat, my butt began to hurt. After riding a tricycle for 10 kilometers, we finally arrived at the Quyang Lake Dam.

I spent 30 yuan on a boat ride to let my poor butt rest. There are peaks and forests beside the lake and in the water. Your eyes are in heaven and your butt is in hell. After landing, I gritted my teeth and continued riding on the road. The weather was so hot that my butt hurt and I was sweating profusely. I wandered, was confused, and hesitated, but in the end I completed the loop around the lake.

I would like to take this cycling trip to Quyang Lake in Jingxi to first give me my youth and passion, first to give me the scenery of the lakes and mountains of Jingxi’s Quyang Lake, and first to give myself a sore butt and a tanned face. One day I will no longer be able to ride such long distances and will have to drive or take a car. I will give today’s experiences and memories as gifts to my future self. Jiuzhou Ancient Town

After leaving the Aibu Waterfalls, I originally wanted to take a small road to Erlang Waterfall. I asked the local villagers and learned that the path was different, so I followed the road towards Renzhuang Township. 2 kilometers away from Renzhuang Township, Then we headed back to Jingxi City, passing by Jiuzhou Ancient Town for a look.

When the strategy was formulated before, the general evaluation was not very high. Since it is a local vehicle, you can go in without buying a ticket. Most of the buildings in the ancient town are new, and the bluestone roads have been turned into cement roads.

Due to limited time, we hurriedly visited and returned to the city.
