The essence of the Book of Changes is that Yin and Yang and five elements (gold, wood, water, earth and fire) 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9 belong to Yang; 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 belongs to yin. If the number exceeds ten, there is only one digit left for calculation. For example, 15 is reduced to 5, which belongs to positive soil; 52 is reduced to 2, which belongs to shady wood, and so on.
