Seoul in English is Seoul.
Seoul, the full name of Seoul Special City, is the capital of South Korea, the political, economic, technological, educational and cultural center of South Korea, and one of the major financial cities in Asia. It is located in the Han River Basin in northwest South Korea, in the middle of the Korean Peninsula.
Seoul is also a young city with vibrant people, bustling and noisy city, charming natural landscape, and long history and culture. Vibrant Seoul presents exciting scenes everywhere, with 34 famous universities such as Seoul National University and Sungkyunkwan University, making it a veritable university city.
Seoul has Gwanaksan Mountain, Triangle Mountain, Inwangsan Mountain, Gyeongbokgung Palace, Deoksugung Palace, Changdeokgung Palace and other places of interest. Under the shade of the urban area, ancient palaces, temples and modern buildings reaching into the sky complement each other, showing the ancient and modern history and era style of Seoul.
Seoul has a temperate monsoon climate. The annual average temperature is around 11.8°C, with four distinct seasons. There is less rain in spring and autumn and the climate is warm, making it suitable for tourism. In summer (June to mid-September), the monthly average temperature is 20℃-27℃, with continuous high temperature and rainy weather. In winter (December to February), the temperature is slightly lower than that of other cities at the same latitude. (The monthly average temperature is -5℃~0℃).
In South Korea, Seoul is also connected by expressways to major cities such as Busan and Incheon. The Seoul-Incheon Line is South Korea's first modern expressway. The Seoul-Busan Expressway passes through industrial center cities such as Suwon, Cheonan, Daejeon, Gumi, Daegu and Gyeongju.
