Changbai Mountain is divided into broad sense and narrow sense. Broadly speaking, Changbai Mountain is the general name of the eastern mountains of Liaoning, Jilin and Heilongjiang provinces in China, and also the general name of many remaining mountains in Russian Far East and Korean Peninsula. In a narrow sense, the concept of Changbai Mountain mostly refers to the main peak of Changbai Mountain, which is a United Nations "Man and Biosphere" nature reserve and a national AAAAA-level tourist attraction. 1. Tianchi Lake in Changbai Mountain
The famous Tianchi Lake in Changbai Mountain, located at the top of the main peak of Changbai Mountain and on the crater, is the highest and largest alpine lake in China and the birthplace of the three major rivers in northeast China: Songhua River, Yalu River and Tumen River. Simply speaking of Tianchi Lake, you may only imagine a clear lake among the mountains. But in fact, one of the biggest wonders of Tianchi is that Tianchi opens ice. The ice opening period of Tianchi Lake is divided into "Kevin" and "Wu Kai" in June each year. Kevin means to wait for the ice on the lake to melt naturally. Wu Kai means that when the ice on the lake is not completely melted, the whole ice will become countless small pieces under the combined action of wind and lake water. The scene is very spectacular. How spectacular is it? Even CCTV will broadcast this phenomenon live. After entering Changbai Mountain Scenic Area, you need to take the shuttle bus to Tianchi Scenic Area. Because Tianchi is high in altitude and low in water temperature, the ambient temperature is also low, with an average annual temperature of only 7.3, making it a good place for summer vacation.
2. Changbai Waterfall
The White Waterfall Group is located on the north side of Tianchi Lake. At the gap between the astronomical peak and the Longmen peak, a pool of clear waterfalls overflowed here. A spectacular waterfall group with a drop of 68 meters is formed from the cliff. From a distance, it looks like two silver dragons rushing down in the howling, shaking their heads and wagging their tails, splashing countless waves, like flying snow. This is the largest waterfall group in China, which is connected with Tianchi from the top and Erdaobai River from the bottom. There is a water pool more than 2 meters deep under the waterfall, and the overall scenery is magnificent. The best places to see waterfalls here are Waterfall Slope, Waterfall Pavilion and Gao Yan Kissing Waterfall.
3. Changbai Mountain, Wang Chi
Wang Chi is a seemingly ordinary small lake, located in the deep forest at low altitude on the western slope of Changbai Mountain. Its water is very clear, and Chi Pan is covered with vegetation such as Ursula, Pu Shu, Yuehua and Tasmania. In summer, butterflies and dragonflies compete to fly and shuttle through this quiet beauty. It is worth mentioning that on the way to Wang Chi, you will pass by a natural garden. In the garden, a plank road leads directly to the pool. Wildflowers are in full bloom on both sides of the plank road, and the flowers are rich, and the sound of birds and frogs is endless. Because many tour groups don't come here, it is a beautiful and quiet summer resort in Changbai Mountain in summer.
4. The small Tianchi Lake in Changbai Mountain
is located 3 kilometers north of Changbai Waterfall, and there are two small Tianchi Lakes in Changbai Mountain. A quiet and cool Yuehua forest. The lake is blue and the water depth can reach more than 1 meters. The lake is calm and clear. 2 meters away, there is a circular pool only a few meters deep. Occasionally, the yellow mud will be exposed when it dries. If you look down from a height, you will find that one of these two lakes is clear, and the other is red and yellow, just like a pair of gold and silver cups, so these two lakes are also called the North Lake. Clouds often diffuse in the Woods near the lake, and heavy rain and hail often come unexpectedly, so the environment around the lake is very cool
After seeing Xiaotianchi Lake, you can walk directly to Luyuan Lake along a forest path. Luyuan Lake is also located in the landscape belt of Yuehua Forest, surrounded by trees, which is extremely cool. Lvyuantan Waterfall is not as spectacular as Changbai Waterfall, with a drop of only 26 meters, but it is also a fantastic and charming landscape, because the water pool here is deep and green, and the waterfall water splashes on the green and ancient boulder. And near Luyuantan, there is an environmental protection station and a blue view fast food restaurant, which is very convenient.

1. Erdaobaihe Town
If you choose to go up the mountain from the north slope, it is recommended to stay in Erdaobaihe Town, where accommodation is relatively economical. There are many hotels and inns here, as well as many family hotels and day rentals. Accommodation prices range from tens to hundreds of yuan, and the environment is basically clean and hygienic, which can meet the different needs of different customers. The best five-star hotels here are Yu Zi Hotel and Jinshuihe International Hotel, and the relatively economical hot spring hotel should be Blue View.
Erdaobaihe Town, located at the foot of Changbai Mountain, is known as the first town in Changbai Mountain. There is a gurgling river in the town that runs through the whole city. The nature park built by the river occupies a lot of space. Outside the residential area of the town, there is Northeast Asian Botanical Garden, which is a world of plants. Walking on the plank road, the trees on the left and right sides are constantly changing. The names of various factories are listed in detail on the nameplate. This town is quiet and peaceful. Free from the interference of traffic and smog, the happiness index is extremely high, especially suitable for being in a daze. Together with Changbai Mountain, it has become a business card handed to the world. The town is 35 kilometers away from the core landscape of Changbai Mountain and is the gateway to Changbai Mountain. If you look carefully, you will find that on both sides of some main streets, there are some carved stones. These stone carvings started in front of Jinshuihe Hotel and extended southward along Chibei Street to Wang Yun Bridge. At the same time, they are distributed on both sides of Erdaobaihe Street and on both sides of Erdaobaihe to Meirensong Lake. The center of these stone carvings is engraved with the surname, and the word "Fu" is also engraved on the left or right side of the stone, which echoes the word "Shou" on the diagonal below. These stones are "stone stories of people's longevity", and they are deeply blessed by local residents and foreign tourists.
2. Songjianghe Town
If you choose to go uphill on the west slope, it is recommended to live in Songjianghe Town. Because this town is the seat of the Forestry Bureau, the environment in the town is cleaner and more lively. Like Erdaobaihe, there are all kinds of hotels, guesthouses, hotels, guest houses and other houses here, with prices ranging from tens to hundreds of yuan, which is very convenient for eating, living and playing.
3. Accommodation in Wanda Town
It is also recommended by travelers on the west slope, and it is also the best accommodation in the environment. The whole town has a European architectural style, with many outdoor shops, restaurants, cinemas, specialty stores and other leisure places, as well as ski resorts in winter. However, most of the accommodation places here are star-rated hotels, including Westin, Hyatt Regency, Zhixuan, holidays, Ibis, etc., and the prices are also high, ranging from 4 to 1 yuan in the peak season.

1. Changchun: This is the nearest provincial capital city to Changbai Mountain. Planes and high-speed trains are bound to arrive here.
2. Dunhua: No matter which direction you go to Changbai Mountain, you will pass through Dunhua County.
3. Erdaobaihe: This is the nearest town to the northern slope of Changbai Mountain.
4. Songjiang: the nearest town to the west slope of Changbai, where Wanda Resort is located.
5. Changbai Mountain Airport: The planes flying here mainly include Shanghai, Guangzhou, Changchun, Qingdao, Harbin and Yanji. It is very convenient to stay in Wanda town after arrival.
6. Longjia Airport: This airport is located near Changchun, and it is also the airport where most planes arrive.

Erdaobaihe-North Slope Scenic Area Entrance
If you take the tourist express, it will take about 3-4 minutes to get there. If you carpool with others, each person only needs tens of dollars. You can also rent a car. By the way, you can visit Erdaobaihe, Mojie, Beipo and Wanda Town, and you only need about 4 yuan all day.
It's about 3 minutes' drive from the north slope of Changbai Mountain to the west. Find a taxi to pick up and drop off about 15 yuan.
Wanda Town-Changbai Mountain Airport
There is a free shuttle bus from Wanda Town to the airport, which takes about 2 minutes. Please consult the hotel front desk for the specific time. There is also a free bus for you to take to Wanda Town when you get off the plane.
: V. Other precautions
1. The weather in Changbai Mountain is unpredictable. It is normal that it is rainy and foggy in summer, and the ultraviolet intensity on sunny days is not generally strong, so please prepare warm clothes, take sun protection measures and bring a raincoat. In order to avoid the danger of lightning, you can't open an umbrella at the top of the mountain.
2. If you want to go to Tianchi at the top of the mountain, you must bring a long-sleeved coat and trousers, or even a thin cotton-padded jacket. The temperature in the mountains will be much colder than that in the mountains. Be sure to wear more, more and more.
3. If you can, bring your own food, because the food on the mountain is very expensive. Hot spring eggs and corn are delicious, but don't be full.
4. Changbai Mountain Scenic Area is very large, so you should take an eco-car to and from various scenic spots and stop at Tianchi Scenic Area.
5. Be sure to pay attention to safety on the mountain, and don't leave the plank road at will. Dangerous streams do exist. And don't get too close to the cliff to prevent the rubble from rolling down.
