Line 1: Nanmenpiao Station-Dongtianfudi-Elk Peak Ancient Road-Black Elk Temple-Xiaoxiang Tianchi-Dongtianfudi

Go through the south gate ticket station of the scenic spot, go to the parking lot behind the Heimifeng management office and reach Xanadu. The path in front of you is the Mi Feng Ancient Road, which was built in the Tang Dynasty and has a history of 1300 years. It is a stone step trail with local materials, with the steepest slope of 87 degrees. Along the way, it passes through many scenic spots such as Bixingling, Dongbinyan, Queshelin, Luoyang Town Martyrs' Tomb, Yang Zhenting, Yin Jianquan, Huai Su Caotang, Mirror Pool, Chi Pan Scarab, Zhengde Dita and so on. Finally, it reaches the top of Heimi Peak, which is called one of the four famous Buddhist mountains in Changsha by Buddhists, and then reaches the Meteorological Tower. The early warning system for flood and waterlogging mesoscale disasters in Hunan Province, jointly invested by the National Meteorological Administration and the Hunan Provincial Government, is the first Doppler weather radar in our province and has also become the first batch of national meteorological science education bases. After visiting the top of the mountain, go down to Xijing Pavilion, surrounded by granite, and the well water is about 1.2 meters deep. According to legend, this Buddha-shaped stone was carved by Puguang monk in Dongyang Temple (now Black Elk Ancient Temple). Arriving at Xiaoxiang Tianchi halfway up the mountain, Tianchi organically combines with the vast lake, steep lakeshore, towering peaks and green bamboo forests, forming a unique landscape "Pinghu on the Peak" surrounded by lakes and mountains, overlapping peaks and green mountains, and is known as "Tianchi on Earth" and "Xiaoxiang Beauty". Finally, take the downhill road to Dongtianfudi by car.

Note: This route takes a long time to walk, and the scenic spots on the route are relatively complete, and the round trip takes about 2.5-3 hours, which is suitable for friends who like mountaineering.

Line 2: South Gate Ticket Office-Xiaoxiang Tianchi-Heimi Ancient Temple-Xiaoxiang Tianchi

Take a bus to Xiaoxiang Tianchi via the south gate ticket station in the scenic spot. Tianchi is organically combined with the vast lake, steep lakeshore, towering peaks and green bamboo forests, forming a unique landscape "Pinghu on the Peak" surrounded by lakes and mountains, overlapping peaks and green mountains, and is known as "Tianchi on Earth" and "Xiaoxiang Beauty". Walking up the mountain, the green bamboo pavilion is hidden in the bamboo forest and looks like a pavilion built by green bamboo. Xifu Pavilion is antique, with the charm of China traditional garden architecture, just like a pavilion in Qiongtai, with a misty prospect, just like entering a fairyland. According to legend, this Buddha statue was carved by Puguang monk in Dongyang Temple. Xijingting well water is crystal clear and the trunk is surrounded by granite. The water depth of the well is about1.2m, and the water quality meets the first-class water quality standard of the national surface water environment quality. Well water here is inexhaustible. Finally, the Heimi Ancient Temple, which reached the top of Heimi Peak, was called one of the four famous Buddhist mountains in Changsha by Buddhist scholars. The flood mesoscale disastrous weather early warning system in Hunan Province, jointly invested by the National Meteorological Administration and the Hunan Provincial Government, is the first Doppler weather radar in our province and has also become the first national meteorological science education base. After visiting the top of the mountain, go back down the mountain and get the car at Xiaoxiang Tianchi. Consider going downhill from the north gate.

Note: the climbing time of this route is short, and it takes about 20 minutes to climb from Xiaoxiang Tianchi to the top of the mountain. Friends who are suitable for traveling with children and the elderly.
