How to use waterproof coating
Construction preparation → Base layer treatment → Painting of base material → Detailed treatment → Waterproof layer construction → Quality inspection → Finished product protection
Apply waterproof coating on the base layer of the leveling layer with a stiff brush
The following are the specific methods:
1. Base layer treatment
Waterproof layer base layer (leveling layer): The surface of the base layer should be solid and have a certain strength.
Clean and clean, with no dirt, sand or other dirt on the surface. The surface is flat, smooth and not loose. It is required to be smoothed and calendered. The remaining mortar blocks or protrusions should be smoothed with a shovel.
2. Detailed processing
1) Yin and Yang angle: The connection between the ground and the wall should be formed into an arc with a radius of 20mm.
2) Pipe root location: After positioning the pipe root through the wall, cement mortar should be used around the floor to seal tightly, and the area around the pipe root connected to the ground should be plastered into a figure-eight shape with cement mortar.
3) Wall pipes and connectors should be installed firmly and the joints should be tight. If there is rust or oil stains, they should be cleaned with wire brushes, sandpaper, solvents, etc.
4) After the base layer is treated, there should be no obvious water accumulation on the base layer.
3. Construction of waterproof layer:
1 Requirements for the base surface before construction: it must be smooth and there must be no defects such as holes or grooves.
2 Before construction, the wall and floor need to be moistened with water to eliminate the gas in the wall holes, making the wall denser and the surface more permeable.
3. When mixing powder and liquid materials, you need to use an electric drill. Stir at a constant speed and then let it sit for 3-5 minutes. If it is manual mixing, you need to stir for about 10 minutes, and then let it stand for 10 minutes before use.
4 When using, if there are bubbles in the slurry, the bubbles need to be brushed away to avoid the presence of bubbles.
5 Note: When painting, you need to paint in one direction only for the first time, and in the opposite direction for the second time.
6 The best time between the first and second coats is about 4-8 hours.
7. It is not easy to paint the thickness of the facade. It can be painted several times. When painting, there will be holes of about 1.2-1.5mm, so it needs to be painted in several passes to increase its density and fill it. void density.
8 It is better to do the closed water test after 2-3 days of construction. The 7 days are part of the cement curing cycle and require more maintenance.
