Introduction of Jinhua Peak Tower?

The Windfinder Tower is located on Li San Long Mao Mountain in the southeast of Liucheng Town, Wuyi County, Jinhua City. Now it is a county-level cultural relics protection unit.

The tower was built in the 30th year of Qing Daoguang (1850) and completed the following year. The tower is 24 meters high and hollow with six sides and seven floors. The windows on each floor are staggered, the eaves are six layers of flat bricks, and the corners of the three layers overlap. The pagoda is a "thirteen days" style, and the patrol palace next to the pagoda no longer exists. Laifeng Tower can climb the stairs and overlook the panoramic view of Liucheng.

The Peak Patrol Tower and Laifeng Tower face each other across the river. Locals call it "Twin Towers", one red and one white refers to the Phoenix Tower, and the red refers to the Laifeng Tower. It is said that water ghosts in Xuanping area in ancient times caused floods every summer. In order to subdue it, local residents built Laifeng Pagoda by the river. And a local rich man built a white tower opposite the red tower to worship the water demon.
