Climate environment

The microclimate in Dachuan area is mainly influenced by Zhouhe, Bahe, Tieshan, Lei Yin Pushan, Tongluo Mountain, Mingyue Mountain and Qilixia Mountain. The overall climate is influenced by subtropical monsoon climate. Affected by the Tieshan Mountains, the county is divided into two climatic zones. The northwest is characterized by cool climate in northern Sichuan, and the southeast is characterized by dry and hot areas in eastern Sichuan.

Rich in heat, four distinct seasons, mild climate, rapid warming in early spring, hot in summer, cool in autumn, rapid temperature drop and warm in winter. Spring is warm, summer is long, autumn is short and winter is moderate. Excellent water and heat, abundant precipitation but uneven distribution, drought in midsummer and rainy in autumn and winter; The frost-free period is long, with more clouds and less sunshine; Agricultural disastrous weather is frequent, and the three-dimensional climate in mountainous areas is obvious.

The latitude of the county is low, and the maximum solar altitude angle is 82 (summer solstice) and the minimum is 35 (winter solstice), so the ground gets more solar radiation heat. In the Pacific Ocean not far from the east, the summer monsoon brings a lot of water vapor from the ocean. The uplift in the south and the high terrain in the north, as well as the blocking of Qinling Mountains and Daba Mountains, are easy to form water vapor, and water showers are mostly concentrated in summer. In winter, affected by the dry and cold monsoon in the northwest, the air is dry and there is little rain.
