Guo Ruixiang's Martial Arts Achievements
1983 was awarded as "One Thousand Excellent Wushu Counselors in China". 1995 was rated as "Top 100 Martial Arts in China" and "Top 10 Martial Arts Masters in China". In the same year, he was elected as the president of China Cangzhou Tongguan Boxing Research Association.
1986 wrote Miao Dao with more than 50,000 words and more than 300 demonstration drawings. Published by People's Sports Publishing House, it is well received by experts and readers.
1989 published the book Guagua Circle. 1990, Cangzhou Guagua was published by Fuchangtang Publishing House in Tokyo, Japan.
1997, entrusted by China State Sports Commission at that time, served as the executive editor of the national textbook Guaguaquan. The book is in short supply and was awarded the first prize of outstanding works in the 50 years since the founding of the People's Republic of China by Cangzhou Social Science Association.
In 2004, People's Sports Publishing House published Miao Daoism and Twenty-four Arms. In order to facilitate the self-study of martial arts enthusiasts and let scholars practice the skills handed down by their parents, Guo Ruixiang also published seven CDs, Miao Lu, Miao Lu, Crazy God Stick, Split Hanging Knife, Split Hanging Primary Routine, Split Hanging Intermediate Routine and Appreciation Routine, which were very popular.
1999, the feature film "Miao Dao" shot by Cangzhou TV Station in Hebei Province caused great shock at home and abroad. CCTV Channel 2 and Channel 4 broadcast it four times, and the media in the United States, Japan and South Korea also bought it from Cangzhou TV Station. People's Daily, Guangming Daily, China Martial Arts, Hebei Daily, Guangdong TV Station, Japan Radio Asia, Seoul CCTV, Korea Culture Daily and many other domestic and foreign media all reported.
From 65438 to 0986, Guo Ruixiang presented the Miao Dao used by his father Guo Changsheng, who had been treasured for many years, to China, and now it is kept as a cultural relic in the exhibition room of the State Sports Bureau. Therefore, Guo Ruixiang was awarded the Lion Award for his contribution to the excavation of China.
For decades, Guo Ruixiang has devoted himself to developing a new practical Miao Dao, visited Longquan famous craftsmen five times, and developed a Miao Dao which is beneficial to chopping. The "new practical Miao Dao" with suitable size and weight was approved by the State Council Intellectual Property Office as Guo Ruixiang's patent in 2003. Now it has been mass-produced and sold at home and abroad.
In 2004, China General Post Office issued a set of 16 special commemorative stamps of China Wushu, among which Guo Ruixiang's Miao Dao and his son Guo's Guaguaquan were included.
