At the same time, the existing four coal mines, Dongshan, Fenghai, Cai Feng and Zhanjiawopu, will be upgraded and expanded, with an annual coal output of 500,000 tons. Rectify and standardize coal storage and transportation links and establish a new coal trading market. There are 45 coal storage and transportation households in the town. Using idle assets, an industrial community was planned. In 2007, two wood processing enterprises settled in. Through attracting investment, the three enterprises have the intention to settle in, and gradually formed an industrial community dominated by wood and building materials. The number of wood processing enterprises in the town has reached 14, and the economic strength of villages and towns has been significantly enhanced. Fengshuigou Town is the northernmost town in yuanbaoshan district, with a small population, large area, relatively perfect basic conditions, rich forests and abundant underground coal reserves. In recent years, relying on the advantages of resources, the town has vigorously carried out and promoted project construction, and its economic development has entered a period of rapid development.
