How to raise a cash cow? Ventilation, less water, long frying pan!
Cash cows like light, and it is most beneficial to the growth of cash cows when the light is sufficient. Summer exposure needs proper shielding to avoid sunburn of young leaves of money tree. However, cash cows are also particularly resistant to shade. Even if your home has poor lighting conditions, cash cows can last for a long time, but plants are not as good as light.
2. Temperature
Cash cow likes warm and fears freezing, and the most suitable growth temperature of cash cow is 20-32℃. Potted plants should be moved to indoor maintenance in winter, and the maintenance temperature should be above 8℃. If the temperature is low, water must be less, and the watering time should be appropriately extended to avoid frostbite and lodging of plant stems and leaves. Even the roots of plants will rot and be saved!
water
Cash cows are particularly drought-tolerant. When watering plants, we should follow the principle of "don't water them, water them thoroughly". You can insert a wooden chopstick along the edge of the pot and take it out. If the chopsticks are dry, water the cash cow once. In the case of good ventilation, you can often spray water around plants and leaves for humidification.
Step 4 apply fertilizer
Cash cows like fertilizer. In the season of vigorous plant growth, flowers can be watered with decomposed cake fertilizer every 30 days. Stop using nitrogen fertilizer after autumn, and use phosphorus and potassium fertilizer to improve the cold resistance of money tree. In winter, move the cash cow indoors for curing, and stop fertilizing when the curing temperature is lower than 15℃ to avoid fertilizer damage of the cash cow.
5. Ventilation equipment
Cash cows like a well-ventilated environment. In winter, the climate is cold. When the temperature is the highest at noon every day, you can open the window for ventilation. You can move the cash cow outdoors for maintenance in summer. More ventilation can also prevent the occurrence of various diseases and insect pests of money tree.
Common diseases and insect pests of cash cow
Money tree rarely has insects, but it is easy to cause brown spot disease, which is mainly manifested in the appearance of nearly round brown spots on plant leaves. Brown spot disease often occurs in high temperature, high humidity and poor ventilation environment. Once brown spot disease is found, the seriously ill leaves can be cut off and sprayed with carbendazim or chlorothalonil for prevention and control.
If the disease of money tree is particularly serious, all the stems and leaves of the plant can be cut off, because the germination ability of money tree is particularly strong, so the cut plants can quickly extract new stems and leaves at the base.

Breeding method of cash cow
Generally, cash cows are propagated by cutting branches. Generally, ramets are divided in April every year. Take the plant out of the original pot, remove the soil attached to the root system, break the tuber of the mother plant, apply carbendazim or plant ash powder on the wound of the plant root system, dry the wound on the plant root system in the shade, and then re-prepare the moist soil for the pot.
Besides sowing, cash cows can also be propagated by cutting. When cutting, a leaf shaft with two leaves is usually cut, and the cuttings are inserted into wet river sand for astigmatism maintenance. The river sand is always wet, and the money tree can take root after cutting for about half a month.
