What does Chonglimen in Korea do?
Different from other doors, the word "Chonglimen" is written vertically on the plaque of Chonglimen. When Taizu (1335- 1408) established the capital of Li Chenggui, he thought that it could be extended to the capital and even Gyeongbokgung Palace, and a fire broke out because of the excessive anger over the geomantic view of Anshan in Seoul. The ritual character of Chonglimen belongs to fire in Yin-Yang and Five Elements. If you stand upright with Chongli Gate, it will be like a flame roaring and burning. At that time, it was thought that the fire on the Moon Mountain could be defeated by fire, so the plaque was written vertically. The inscription on the Chonglimen tablet is both solemn and elegant, and magnificent and beautiful. This book was written by Jean Ning Dajun (1394- 1462), the eldest son of Emperor Taizong. It is very famous. Chongli Gate is located in the middle of the road, so tourists can't see it at close range, but it is easy to see it in the car and on the roadside. Especially at night, the mercury lamp under the city gate illuminates the south gate, and then you can appreciate its beauty.
After the initial construction in the seventh year of Taizu (1398), the construction of Sejong began in the thirtieth year (1448). In the future, when the Japanese riots in Renchen and Bingzi occurred randomly, the south gate was not damaged. 1962, according to the Law on the Protection of Cultural Property, this treasure was regarded as the National TreasureNo. 1. The building plane is 5 rooms on the front and 2 rooms on the upper and lower floors. The floor downstairs in the building is rainbow, making the floor outside the spring well, the floor in other rooms and the wooden floor upstairs. There have always been several opinions about the author of the tablet, but according to Lei Zhifeng Shuo, it was written by Ning Dajun. The plaque on the other door is written horizontally, and the reason why Chongli Gate is written vertically is because the word' Chongli' means spark, so as to suppress the anger of Guan Yueshan opposite Qingfu Palace. The South Gate is the largest of many city gates, and it is a typical multi-package building. It is one of the important buildings in the history of Korean architecture with solid wood construction technology.
At about 8: 50 pm on February 10, 2008, a fire broke out at Chonglimen, the national treasure of 1. The fire started from the wooden pavilion on the second floor of Chonglimen. At first, the fire brigade thought it was caused by leakage of lighting equipment. Later, it was found that there were no wires and other equipment around the wooden pavilion on the second floor, so now it is suspected that it was caused by arson. The fire continued to burn for five hours. At about 2 am on February 1 1, the pavilions on the first and second floors of Chonglimen collapsed and turned to ashes. During the restoration of Chonglimen, the handover ceremony of Chonglimen and Chonglimen honor guard will stop. The restoration project is expected to take 2-3 years.
South Korea's joint search headquarters, which is responsible for investigating the arson in Chonglimen, said on June 2 that the suspect Cai was arrested on Jianghua Island on the evening of June 1 1, and 70-year-old Cai confessed to the facts of the crime. Cai has a record of arson. In April 2006, he deliberately set fire to Chang Gung Palace for land compensation, resulting in property losses of 4 million won. Therefore, he was sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment 18 months and suspended for two years for violating the cultural property protection law. According to this clue, the police listed Cai as a major suspect, and the police also found tools such as ladders and fuel in Cai's residence.
The letter and confession found by the police from Cai showed that Cai thought that the land he owned had been developed, but he did not get enough compensation from the construction party, and repeatedly reported it to the relevant departments, but he did not get satisfactory results. So he was dissatisfied with the society and decided to set fire to revenge in Chonglimen. Cai also confessed that in order to carry out this crime, he went to Chonglimen twice in July and June last year165438+1October, mastered the building structure and security deployment of Chonglimen in advance, and prepared tools for committing crimes in advance, such as ladders and thinners.
The origin of the name of Chongli Gate
In 3 16, Si Marui called Jiankang King today (in order to avoid the emperor's taboo of power, it was changed to Jiankang), and the Eastern Jin Dynasty began. When Sun Wu was built, the former site of Taichu Palace was a palace. Imitating the old system of Luoyang in the Western Jin Dynasty, Tai Chi Hall and East-West Hall were set up, and Shang Shu Tai was listed in the court. However, the original building materials were sloppy. During his stay in Xiao Qi, Wang Jian asked Lu Cheng: There was a drum at Chongli Gate, but it never rang. What is its meaning? A: Jiangzuo Cao Chuang and Chongli Lu are both young men, so they stand drums, and when there is a fire, they knock to gather people, which is passed down from generation to generation (volume 48 of Southern History and volume 38 of Biography). Chongli Gate is the name of Tang Chao, a senior minister. The early gate was still hairy, with drums to prevent fire. You can imagine. However, the system of offering sacrifices to the court and worshiping the door was already like this in Luoyang in the Western Jin Dynasty.
