Hulk
Taking this practical travel train, you can easily reach some beautiful cities that we have heard of a lot but reluctantly give up due to inconvenient transportation.
Let us stand on the shoulders of the "Hulk" and go to those "remote" cities to get a sneak peek.
D755 timetable
D755 starts from Chongqing and stops in 5 cities along the way, including Nanchong and Guangyuan in Sichuan, Longnan, Minxian and Lanzhou in Gansu. The scenery along the way is Beautiful and charming, with a gathering of people and culture, we finally arrived in Xining.
1. Nanchong
Nanchong is located in the middle reaches of the Jialing River. It was named Nanchong because it was located in the south of Chongguo, one of the four ancient states in Sichuan during the Spring and Autumn Period. This is the birthplace of the Three Kingdoms culture and the Spring Festival culture.
Nanchong has simple folk customs and rich folk customs, which is an excellent window to peek into Sichuan and Sichuan culture. When you arrive in Nanchong, you must visit Langzhong Ancient City.
Langzhong North Sichuan Road
Langzhong, Anju, Pingyao and Shexian are collectively known as the "Four Ancient Cities in China" and are famous Feng Shui cities. The city is full of ancient buildings from the Ming and Qing dynasties, and the traffic along the bluestone road makes wandering there feel like traveling through time. Attractions such as Hanhuanhou Temple, Gongyuan, and North Sichuan Taoist Temple form the cultural and historical atmosphere of the core area of the ancient city. There is a mountain outside the city called Jinping, with beautiful bells, beautiful scenery and unique scenery.
2. Guangyuan
Guangyuan, Sichuan, should be the most important city in northern Sichuan. In ancient times, if you wanted to enter Shu from Hanzhong, you had to conquer Guangyuan first. Guangyuan is also the place where China’s only Empress Wu Zetian was born.
When mentioning Guangyuan, what comes to mind is Jianmen Pass. Li Bai's "The Road to Shu is Difficult" says: The sword pavilion is towering and Cui Wei, one man can guard the pass, and ten thousand men cannot open it. This is what he is talking about.
Jianmen Pass
I once watched "The Son-in-law", and I was deeply impressed by this ancient pass. The most vivid impact of dimensionality reduction and iron-blooded pleasure happened in this mighty pass. .
Guangyuan has many attractions worth visiting for many days. In addition to Jianmen Pass, Huangze Temple, Jianmen Shu Road, Zhaohua Ancient City, Thousand Buddha Cliff, Mingyue Gorge, etc. are all worth checking out. In particular, Thousand Buddha Cliff was excavated in the Sui Dynasty, flourished in the Tang Dynasty, and developed in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. It has different postures, beautiful shapes, and exquisite skills. It is an excellent place to understand the art of ancient stone carvings.
Thousand Buddha Cliff
Although Thousand Buddha Cliff is not famous, if you have been there, you will know that it is not an exaggeration to call it a treasure cave of ancient stone carving art.
3. Longnan
After passing Guangyuan and passing through the towering Qinling Mountains, we left Sichuan. The next stop for the "Green Giant" is Longnan. Longnan is the only region in Gansu Province that belongs to the Yangtze River system and has a subtropical climate. It is known as "Longshangjiangnan". This place has a long history and was once the birthplace of Qin culture.
Longnan is famous for its beautiful natural scenery. When you arrive in Longnan, you can’t miss two scenic spots: one is Xixiasong and the other is Wanxiang Cave.
Wanxiang Mysterious
Wanxiang Cave is a typical karst landform with unfathomable depth inside. It is currently the largest underground natural art palace developed in my country. It is said that five gods once practiced Taoism here; the scenery in Xizhaosong is beautiful, with green mountains facing each other and clear streams. The mountains, water, rocks and trees in the gorge all form part of the scenery. Pavilions, bridges, corridors and pavilions complement each other.
4. Min County
Min County belongs to Dingxi City, Gansu Province and is located on the edge of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. It is known as the "Millennium Medicine Township" and the "Hometown of Chinese Angelica Sinensis".
The most famous scenic spot in Min County is undoubtedly Erlang Mountain. There is a very old song, and I still remember one line in it, "Erlang Mountain is so high, so high." You can imagine how steep Erlang Mountain is.
Erlang Mountain
Erlang Mountain once left the footprints of the Red Army. It is also the hometown of Erlang Mountain Flowers, the western starting point of the Qin Great Wall, and one of the few forest parks in Gansu.
5. Lanzhou
Lanzhou has east-west transportation and has always been an important town in the northwest.
Zhongshan Bridge
When you arrive in Lanzhou, you must check out the famous Zhongshan Bridge, the first bridge over the Yellow River, and you must try the famous Lanzhou beef noodles.
Climbing up Baita Mountain, you can have a panoramic view of Lanzhou City. This long and narrow infancy city on the Yellow River is attached to the mother of the Yellow River. No matter how strong it grows and how glorious its development is, it still looks like a child that has not grown up.
When you arrive in Lanzhou, you must visit the Gansu Museum. You can take a closer look at those exquisite and gorgeous historical marks here.
6. Xining
Xining is the capital of Qinghai Province, but unlike the usual splendid and populous metropolises in the mainland, it is just a small plateau town full of tranquility.
I like Xining. There seems to be no summer in this city. Even if I come here in July and August, the pleasant coolness is never lacking.
The air in Xining is crisp and clear, and the ethnic groups are harmonious. The most unforgettable way to travel is to wander around the streets and alleys of Xining without a destination. When you are hungry, you can find a halal restaurant on the roadside to eat. When you are thirsty, you can have a bowl of handmade yogurt that can be found everywhere.
To experience the strong ethnic atmosphere, you can visit the Dongguan Mosque in the city and the Kumbum Monastery outside the city.
Dongguan Mosque
Ta'er Temple
Dongguan Mosque is the largest mosque in Qinghai Province with majestic architecture and a fusion of Chinese, Tibetan and Islamic styles. The worship hall in the center is the largest building in the temple; the most famous thing about Kumbum Temple is the lifelike butter flowers, which are unparalleled in the world.
When you arrive in Xining, it is estimated that for many people, the trip really begins. From here begins the wonderful Northwest Grand Ring Road, visiting Qinghai Lake, checking in to the Chaka Salt Lake, and passing through Qaidam... That’s a story for later, so I won’t mention it here.
