The best tourist season in Huangshan:

March-May and September-October. In spring and autumn, the temperature is just right, and there are not as many people as in summer vacation. Basically all attractions are open at that time. Huangshan has the most tourists in summer, so you will definitely queue up when taking the cable car. Accommodation must be booked in advance. Winter and early spring are when there are fewer tourists. Winter snow, rime, and ice hanging are all very interesting, but some attractions may be closed in winter.

The climate in Huangshan Mountain changes quite a lot, so remember to pay attention to the weather forecast when you go there. Because you are going mountain climbing, you must remember to wear something more casual. You also need a raincoat and sunscreen.
