Tourist season for Mount Xumi Grottoes

The Xumishan Grottoes are relatively remote, so choose a season with better weather to visit. Generally speaking, summer is the best, spring and autumn are also acceptable, but winter is not so suitable. The Xumishan Grottoes are different from the four major grottoes in that they require climbing, so it is not suitable to visit in snowy winter or rainy days. In summer, try to avoid noon when visiting. It is quite sunny and requires a lot of water. The self-driving road is not particularly easy, so be careful in rainy and snowy weather. Try not to smoke when sightseeing to avoid causing damage to the cave body. Take a bus from Guyuan County to Sanying Town (a journey of more than 1 hour). There is a bus at the intersection in the north of the town to Mount Xumi (a journey of nearly 1 hour). During the off-season, you can only charter a car from Sanying to Mount Xumi. By car, take the Fuyin Expressway to Sanying Station and get off the expressway. You can reach the scenic spot in 20 minutes.
