Is feng shui a science?

-The day before the war of words between Hu Yiming and Si Manan, I happened to see a TV debate on the theme of "Feng Shui applying for the World Heritage" broadcast by Nanjing City Channel on "168", with Hu Yiming, the master of typhoon water, as the representative in the affirmative and Si Manan, the anti-counterfeiting fighter as the representative. The result of the debate surprised many practitioners and enthusiasts of geomantic omen and traditional mathematics. Obviously, from a technical point of view, the positive performance is extremely inferior. In the face of battle-hardened and eloquent Si Manan, Hu Yiming gave in easily and failed. This is very unexpected to me. Compared with the video of Mr. Hu's previous class, I have to doubt that Mr. Hu is really exaggerating. First of all, the argument is wrong and gives people a handle. On the definition of "Feng Shui", Mr. Hu even called three "principles, principles and principles". This kind of argument, even if you talk about it in your own classroom, is thrown out on TV and has a wide audience. Isn't it a slap in the face? Feng shui, like other mathematical techniques, belongs to the category of metaphysics. The biggest difference between metaphysics and science is that it has no theoretical support of modern scientific civilization (and certainly does not need the support of modern scientific theory); Modern science is based on experiment and logic; Metaphysics is dominated by perceptual thinking and spiritual thinking, with the model of harmony between man and nature. Their ways and methods of understanding the world, like the yin and yang sides, are complementary rather than homogeneous or alternative. Mr. Hu threw out this view and was immediately refuted by Sima's family. Naturally, he was suspected to be a liar. Secondly, the argument is weak and lacks courage. Taking the fire of CCTV Lantern Festival in 2008 as an example, Mr. Hu expounded the argument that air friction on the front of the object caused the fire. According to Mr Hu, this should be a scientific conclusion. In this case, any object with air friction on the facade is bound to have fire. This view, not to mention teacher Sima, is also doubtful for a geomantic practitioner like me. According to my experience, there is a high probability of a sword and triangle friction fire, but this can only be said to be a high probability event, not a 100% inevitable event. Just like four pillars and eight characters, it is impossible to explain life with 100%. If you have seven or eight levels of accuracy, you are already a master among people. We know that the tip is similar to a stake, but it is also knife-shaped, so it will also appear as a symbol of criminal injury. Furthermore, according to the theory of the unity of heaven and man, the corresponding events will only happen if the imaging of heaven, the formation of earth, the reaction of man, heaven, earth and man must be satisfied. When Si Manan questioned why Mr. Hu didn't predict the CCTV fire in advance and remind the public, Mr. Hu was speechless. This made me dumbfounded. I clearly remember that Mr. Hu claimed in his class video that he predicted the fire of CCTV building in a public place in Beijing and pointed out the fire point. It seems that it is predicted that CCTV will be on fire again in a certain year. There are two possibilities: either Mr. Hu lacks the courage to testify, or Mr. Hu was bragging before. Therefore, Mr. Hu's "Feng Shui is science" is untenable. We know that in recent years, Mr. Hu has brought Yin and Yang Feng Shui from Taiwan Province Province to the mainland. This is a good thing to be thankful for. Like a wonderful flower in a hundred flowers garden, it enriches and perfects the geomantic culture. In fact, Yin-Yang Feng Shui is not divorced from the theoretical basis of traditional Feng Shui in essence. To put it bluntly, it is still within the scope of the law of yin and yang. As long as you have a good understanding of the characteristics of the human body, you will have a good understanding of Yin and Yang Feng Shui. Numerology is numerology, metaphysics is metaphysics, and any behavior that caters to other academics is itself a blasphemy. I want to discuss this book with my colleagues.
