Reflections on Gaoling’s study trip—write a diary
What is "research"? Literally speaking, it means studying while studying. It seems to be a unique learning method. This Tuesday, the school organized us to visit the Yangling Agricultural Science and Technology Museum for a study trip. We are not going out to play, but to learn, explore, and research on this unique trip. As soon as we arrived in Yangling, the first thing we saw was a tall statue of Hou Ji. This majestic statue held an ear of grain in his left hand and a hoe in his right hand. His expression was serious and solemn, as if he was looking at this place from afar. The endless mountains and rivers seem to welcome every guest who comes to Yangling. I immediately fell in love with this Feng Shui treasure land. The Yangling Agricultural Science and Technology Museum is an expo that mainly serves teaching and scientific research. In addition to many animals, insects, plants, soil knowledge and the history of agricultural science and technology that are closely related to humans, there are also many unexpected gains. During this study trip, what impressed me most was of course the insect museum, because I am an "insect fan". From a distance, this exhibition hall looks like a lying giant ladybug. It has a unique shape and is very creative! The ancients often said: "A sight is worth a hundred hearings." I have long heard that the Insectarium here is famous all over the world, and I am lucky enough to be here today, and it is indeed well-deserved. As soon as I walked into the insect museum, my eyes were firmly attracted by the rows of neatly displayed insect specimens. There are countless insect specimens in various shapes and varieties: there are beetles with their legs in the air, there are mantises ready to fight, there are stick insects as thin as hemp poles, and there are also limbs tightly curled together, looking timid. A rat-like masked insect... At this moment, a sound of grasshopper piano sounded from my ears. I looked up and was surprised to see that there was a huge specimen of a human-headed wasp nest above! Scared me to death! The most eye-catching thing here is the world-famous butterfly exhibition hall, because the colorful butterflies will take people into a beautiful fairy tale world. Among them, the butterfly that attracts the most tourists is the "Goddess of Light", which is blue and white and seems to emit a dazzling light from a distance. It is so beautiful. This is really a great research trip, which opened my eyes. I saw many insects that I had never seen or heard of before. I want to go back and learn more about it with my curiosity and questions. This unforgettable trip made me feel happy and made me feel the unique charm of nature.
