On October 18, the reporter learned from the Engineering Section of Baotou Municipal Development Center that the comprehensive reconstruction project of the ring road (Hongxing Huandao-Donghe West Road) started on June 11, 221, and the main roads were all connected on October 17. At present, the Red Star Island is still under construction and reconstruction, and the construction is expected to be completed on October 25th.

Therefore, sewage pipelines, water supply pipelines and rainwater pipelines have been added to the comprehensive reconstruction project of the ring road. The total length of sewage pipeline is 2245 meters, the total length of water supply pipeline is 255 meters, and the total length of rainwater pipeline is 2293 meters, including 8 meters of rainwater pipe culvert. Large-scale underground construction transformation is of great significance to improve the drainage environment around the ring road and improve the drainage system in Donghe District.

It is reported that the reconstructed Ring Road, from Hongxing Huandao to Heping Road, has been widened from 18 meters to 19 meters. From Heping Road to Donghe West Road, the road has been widened from 18 meters to 2 meters.

As an important transportation hub, Hongxing Huandao has been responsible for solving the traffic congestion problem at the intersection of Xinaobao Street and Huancheng Road. However, with the improvement of citizens' life and the increase of vehicles, Hongxing Huandao can't meet the traffic congestion problem gradually. Hu Yu introduced: "In view of the traffic congestion problem, it is decided to dismantle the roundabout according to the design plan. After the demolition, three three-dimensional traffic diversion openings will be added, which will separate the traffic that may form traffic congestion from the driving, and realize the continuous flow of traffic in different directions through the intersection in order to solve the tidal traffic congestion problem at the roundabout."

"At present, the road reconstruction, water supply works, underground rainwater and sewage pipelines have all been completed, and the road greening and beautification and lighting construction are in progress step by step.
