Heihe, Guangxi
Heihe River, formerly known as Dayan River, also known as Dahe River, originated in Shizitou, Dapo Town, Cangwu County, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, with an altitude of 418m. Heihe River flows through Dayan in Dapo Town, Cangwu County, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, enters Yunan County, flows into Xijiang River through Zhongcun, Wandong, Fuwo and Wulong in Pingtai Town, with a total length of 26.2 kilometers, an average river slope of 6.02‰, a catchment area of 97.7 square kilometers, a multi-year average flow of 2.26 cubic meters per second and an annual average runoff of 0.7/kloc-0.0 billion cubic meters. The upstream coast is black soil with dense trees and dark river bottom, so it is called "Heihe River". Dahe Reservoir is built in this section, with an installed capacity of 250 kilowatts. The lower reaches of the river are narrow and the coastal terrain is low and flat, which is easy to be soaked by floods and waterlogging in Xijiang River. At the same time, the groundwater level of farmland is generally high and there are many deep fields. Since the completion of 1963 Egongyong sluice, the flood in Xijiang River has been greatly reduced.
