Where does Zhengxiang Village belong?
According to Zheng's Genealogy, Song was a native of Zheng He (A.D.11111165438), who was an official in Kaifeng. The nomads from the Jin army invaded, fought the main battle, and moved south with Emperor Gaozong, making a special contribution to the governance of Qing Dynasty in Youzhu country. Later, he retired to Zhuxi (now Zheng Xiang) in Yuyao, and his descendants multiplied, hence the name Zheng Xiang. In April, 20001year, the administrative villages merged, and five administrative villages east of zhengxiang district Highway in Tang Di Town-Hengdai, Zhengxiang, Houzhengxiang, Chongshan and Xujiaao merged into Zhengxiang Village. The resident of the villagers' committee is in the former Zhengxiang Village, near the east side of the highway. The original Hengdai Village, according to the "Yuyao Place Names", was named: "The village houses are lined up like earth dams." In 2000, it was renamed Shengli Brigade, and later it was restored to Hengdai Brigade and Hengdai Village. The original village of Zhengxiang is named after the location of Zhengxiang. In 2000, it was renamed as Township Mining Brigade, and then it was restored as Zhengcun Brigade and Zhengcun. The former Houzhengxiang Village was named after being located in the north of Zhengxiang Town. In 2000, it was renamed Red Star Brigade, and then it was restored to Houzheng Lane Brigade and Houzheng Lane Village. The original Chongshan Village was named after Chongshan Temple. The industrial economy is located in Zhengxiang Village, Chongqing (Yao)-Zhouxiang Highway runs through the western border from north to south, and Yuyao City in Nantong is connected to National Highway 329 in the north. Now there is an east connecting line connecting Hangzhou Bay Bridge throughout the territory. On the west side, Zhongjiang River runs across the north and south, with a wide river surface, convenient land and water transportation and developed industrial and agricultural production. Agriculture is dominated by rice, including cotton, rape and vegetables. Rivers and lakes have sporadic aquaculture and fishing. Besides planting trees and bamboo in mountainous areas, peaches, plums, bayberry and other fruits also have considerable economic benefits. Industries are mainly plastics and hardware, in addition to cement, textiles, chemical fibers, machinery, molds and so on. There are also 250 village-run or individual enterprises. With the development of industrial and agricultural production, the tertiary industry is also showing a vigorous development momentum because it is located next to Zhengxiang market and on both sides of the main road. Social undertakings have a high reputation of respecting teachers and valuing education. As early as the thirty-second year of Guangxu in the late Qing Dynasty (1906), Mr. Zheng Mengling, a scholar of Houzhengxiang, initiated the establishment of Xishan School (now Zhengxiang Primary School). When the imperial examination was abolished and new schools were established, there were several schools in Yuyao that were more than a hundred years old! Zhengxiang Primary School has a long history, and it is particularly proud that it has trained great men such as Yang Xianjiang, a famous Marxist educator, an outstanding youth movement leader and a staunch fighter.
In rural construction before liberation, villagers' houses were mainly bungalows, with a small number of two-story buildings and a small number of simple straw houses. At present, there are two or three small buildings in the village, each with its own characteristics. There used to be many roads between natural villages in the territory, but now the wide and flat cement roads crisscross and extend in all directions. Village-level public facilities are becoming more and more perfect, all villagers drink tap water, cable TV has been opened in the village, street lamps have been installed on the main roads in the village, open-air septic tanks have been cancelled, and five elderly activity rooms have been built. In the 1970s, five village clinics were established. In 2004, the rural cooperative medical system was implemented in the whole village, and social endowment insurance was implemented for landless farmers, thus effectively solving their problems.
One village, one product, the famous tea "Wuling Green" was successfully developed by using mountain forest resources. 1993 won the first prize in Yuyao City, with an annual output of 1000 kg and an annual income of150,000 yuan. Products have entered the domestic and foreign markets. While doing all the work well, we also developed Yuyao Cemetery-Fuan Cemetery and Zhengxiang No.3 Cemetery. Yuyao Fuan Cemetery is a permanent garden-style sightseeing cemetery with superior geographical location and quiet environment, which enjoys a high reputation in Zhejiang Province. Mr. Guo, executive vice president of Xilong Printing Society, Mr. Qian Facheng, secretary general of Xilong Printing Society and director of the former Provincial Department of Culture, and other famous people came to visit and guide, and happily wrote an inscription: "Feng Shui treasure land, aura auspicious, eternal destination, filial piety and sincere peace of mind." "Create a cultural atmosphere for the benefit of future generations." Give high praise to Fuan cemetery.
