Is my chinchilla afraid of heat?

My neighbor totoro is a pet from South America. They live in high-altitude mountainous areas and are used to the cool climate. Therefore, my neighbor totoro is afraid of heat, vulnerable to high temperature and unwell. It's hot in summer, so we should pay attention to provide my chinchilla with a cool environment and plenty of water to avoid sun exposure and heatstroke.

In order to keep my chinchilla healthy, besides providing a cool environment and plenty of water, we should also pay attention to controlling the indoor temperature and humidity to avoid dryness or excessive humidity.
