Beizhai Street is located at the west foot of the "Giant Peak", the main peak of Laoshan Mountain. Surrounded by hills and jungles, the terrain is high in the east and low in the west. The maximum distance from east to west is10km, and the maximum distance from north to south is 9.2km, with a total area of 81.3km2.. Among them, the mountainous area is 7 1.9 square kilometers and the hilly area is 6.7 square kilometers. The main rivers are Baisha River, Zhang Cun River, Wulong River, Shimen River and Liangquan River. The Wulong River and Liangquan River, the two main catchment rivers of Laoshan Reservoir, both originate from the giant peak of Laoshan Mountain and run through 30 administrative villages in Beizhai, with a drainage area of 7 1 km2, accounting for 76% of the total drainage area of the reservoir, and the incoming water accounts for 80% of the total water volume. They are important water source protection areas in Qingdao.
