How many years does the era of global boiling last?
Scientists all over the world have calculated that July 2023 is the hottest month on record, probably the hottest month on earth since 654.38+200,000 years. In July 2023, fires raged in Greece and Turkey, and dozens of countries in the northern hemisphere, such as the United States and Spain, continuously issued high-temperature warnings. At the same time, the high temperature above 40℃ and heavy rainfall brought by Typhoon Du have affected many places in the north and south of China, and frequent extreme weather has attracted attention.
Recently, the World Meteorological Organization confirmed that the El Niñ o condition was formed in the tropical Pacific for the first time in seven years, which provided a stage for soaring global temperatures, destructive weather and intensified climate patterns. According to the organization's official data, "the week from July 3 to July 9 is the hottest seven days on earth since the instrumental records began in the 1950s."
From July/kloc-0 to July 23rd, the global average surface temperature was 1 6.95℃, which was higher than that of July 20 16.63℃. Before this year, July 20 19 was the hottest July on record, and it was also the hottest month.
In the first three weeks of July, the hottest day was July 6th, and the global average surface temperature reached 17.08℃, a record high. The last hottest day was August 20 16 13, and the global average surface temperature was 16.80℃. At the same time, the surface temperature broke the record, and the sea level temperature also exceeded the average of previous years. In July of 19, the global sea level temperature reached 20.94℃, only 0.0 1℃ lower than the highest record on March 29th of 20 16.
Causes of global warming:
1, air pollution factors: the surface temperature of the earth has been rising continuously, mainly due to air pollution. The increasingly serious environmental pollution has become a major global problem, and it is also one of the main factors leading to global warming. Although the air pollution has decreased in recent years, the negative impact of global warming on human activities is still great. Therefore, we need to take effective measures to reduce air pollution in order to meet the challenges brought by global warming.
2. Deteriorating factors of marine ecological environment: Global warming is mainly caused by the deterioration factors of marine ecological environment, including sea level rise, continuous discharge of a large number of toxic chemical wastes and solid wastes from land activities, and the destruction of coastal ecological environment by human activities.
3. Factors of sharp decline of forest resources: Due to the reduction of forest area, forest resources have been protected. In addition, forest resources are also decreasing due to forest degradation or loss of important water and nutrition sources. Therefore, the sharp decline of forest resources is one of the important reasons leading to global warming.
