On July 1th, the first Lotus Culture and Tourism Festival in the hometown of Zeng Guofan in Shuangfeng, China opened in Lotus Town, and more than 3, acres of lotus flowers greeted visitors from all directions in various ways.

Fang Jianrong, deputy mayor of Loudi City, announced the opening of the Cultural Tourism Festival; Zhu Changjian, director of the Standing Committee of Shuangfeng County People's Congress, delivered a speech; Peng Yunhui, member of the Standing Committee of Shuangfeng County Committee and Minister of Propaganda, presided over the launching ceremony. Li Xingkui, deputy magistrate of Shuangfeng County, attended the opening ceremony.

The purpose of this activity is to fully implement the spirit of the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, innovate the construction concept, change the development mode, explore the healthy development path of small town construction by cultivating characteristic towns with distinctive characteristics, industrial development, green ecology and beautiful livability, build the Huxiang cultural tourism brand represented by Zeng Guofan's hometown, fully implement the rural tourism project to help the poor and enrich the people, promote the global tourism development of the two peaks and the construction of new urbanization and new countryside, further establish the confidence of the two peaks, show the action of the two peaks, and perform the wonderful interpretation of the two peaks.
