What’s wrong with whether Beijing is hot or not?
The meme "Is Beijing hot or not" actually started out as a Weibo blogger posting a small lament "I think Beijing is a bit hot today", which triggered nearly 10,000 comments on Weibo, most of which They all imitate the expressions of Internet trolls.
The original post on Weibo summarized it as "I think the weather in Beijing is a bit hot." This is purely a matter of personal perception, and others have no right to criticize. But a funny scene happened. Many netizens imitated the sophistry logic of today’s Internet keyboard warriors and criticized this Weibo post one after another.
Original text on Weibo
I think it’s a bit hot in Beijing today, but that doesn’t mean it’s not beneficial at all. I don’t mean to wash away the heat in other places. I am not deliberately ignoring the fact that Beijing was cold before and will continue to be cold in the future. I am not implying that I dislike Beijing because it is hot.
There are reasons for hotness, and there are reasons for coldness. I agree that each has its own reasons. I know that "hot" is a personal feeling, but today it is 38 degrees. It's just that it's a little hot in my own area of activity, and it doesn't include the feeling in other places in Beijing, nor does it include the feeling of turning on the air conditioner at home. I don’t mean not to stay in air-conditioned rooms, but I do have to go out.
Understand that the weather is uncontrollable. Not a fan of the area or other cities. It’s just that I feel a little hot because the weather is uncontrollable and the temperature is 38 degrees within one kilometer of where I am. I have to stay outside and cannot use air conditioning to cool down.
