Mr. Liu Bowen said that Feng Shui is not good.
There is a town of Yin Jian in forty miles southeast of Fengyang County. It is said that the origin of this place name is also related to Zhu Yuanzhang. It is said that Zhu Yuanzhang fought in the north and south for more than ten years after driving away the Red Scarf Army in Haozhou, and finally ascended the throne of the emperor in Nanjing. After laying down the country, Zhu Yuanzhang's homesickness became heavier and heavier. So in the second year of his reign, he ordered the construction of Zhongdu City in Fengyang, his hometown. According to the imperial edict, many knowledgeable ministers in the DPRK talked about Fengyang as the hometown of the emperor, but it was not an ideal place to build its capital. At this time, Zhu Yuanzhang was obsessed with the capital Dixiang, but he couldn't hear any opposition.
Skilled craftsmen and precious materials from all over the country gathered in Fengyang, and millions of laborers built the capital. Soon, Zhu Yuanzhang arrived from Nanjing with his civil and military entourage and rewarded Zhongdu for inspecting the work. Liu Bowen, a fellow traveler, secretly intends to say a word to the emperor again, and he must never take Fengyang as his capital. Zhu Yuanzhang and his party boarded the Forbidden City and saw the victory of the Quartet. Looking around, he was in high spirits and never tired of boasting about Zhongdu City. Zhu Yuanzhang was looking forward to it when he suddenly found that Liu Bowen kept his head down and said nothing. He was a little unhappy, so he said, "Liu, why didn't I hear your opinion when I accompanied the company on inspection today?"
Liu Bowen dissuaded him many times and gave various reasons.
Liu Bowen is waiting for this question. Hearing the emperor speak, he immediately fell to his knees with a splash. Zhu Yuanzhang was taken aback and thought that Liu Bowen would not remonstrate again. He frowned and asked, "Why is this Liu?" Liu Bowen said, "Long live my Lord. I saw the far and near terrain of China and was deeply worried about the emperor. " When Zhu Yuanzhang told him to continue, he said, "Outside Zhongdu City, there is Fang Qiu Lake far away and Ma 'anshan (fengyangshan) near, both of which are extremely unfavorable to the emperor. "Zhu Yuanzhang know Liu Bowen some skill in feng shui. He stepped forward to help him up and said, "Tell me quickly, what are the taboos in these two places? Liu Bowen replied: "In the far north, Lake Fang Qiu is covered with reeds, which can hide millions of soldiers;" "Maanshan (fengyangshan), close to the northwest, overlooks Zhongdu, and can set up a cannon on it to hit the Forbidden City with one shot."
Zhu Yuanzhang was taken aback and became more and more uneasy after carefully pondering Liu Bowen's words. However, he is unwilling to give up his hometown and capital. After thinking about it, Zhu Yuanzhang asked Liu Bowen for advice: "What should I do in Ai Qing's opinion?" Liu Bowen thinks that he still has the idea of building his capital's hometown, so it is inconvenient to move the capital elsewhere. He just said, "Just move a stone's throw to the southeast." Zhu Yuanzhang thought about how far it could be within a stone's throw, and how he could not get out of Fengyang, so he agreed as soon as Jinkou opened it.
Liu Bowen gained the trust of Zhu Yuanzhang and gave up Fengyang, the capital.
Liu Bowen took the bow and arrow and handed it to Zhu Yuanzhang, saying, "Shoot an arrow to the southeast with the divine power of the emperor, and build the capital where it lands." Zhu Yuanzhang drew his bow and arrow and shot an arrow in the southeast. The arrow flew more than forty miles with the wind before it began to land on a stream. At this time, a huge golden eagle emerged from the clouds, swooped down, grabbed the falling arrow with one mouth, flapped its wings again, broke through the clouds, and flew directly over Nanjing before the arrow fell.
Zhu Yuanzhang was indecisive after being told, and didn't believe it until he confirmed that he was hit by an arrow. Zhu Yuanzhang's golden mouth was open, and God was in power, so he had to change his original intention and re-expand the capital in Nanjing. Since then, the place where the golden eagle holds the arrow has been called "the eagle with the arrow". Affected by this incident, the local Yin family gradually developed into a big surname, so it took the homonym of "Eagle with Arrow" and renamed this place "Yin Jiajian". This is the origin of the name of Yin Jian Town in Fengyang County.
