At the end of the Ming Dynasty, in the hometown of Fenjiu, Zhu Zhijun, a Fenyang native, built the 80-meter-high Wenfeng Pagoda to support the local culture. After the 69-year-old Master Fudeng came to Taiyuan, he became the abbot of Taiyuan Yongming Temple and prime minister of the expansion.
