How to maintain hearing AIDS in winter?
1) When the hearing aid is not used, open the battery compartment door of the hearing aid and put it in an ordinary drying oven;
2) When the weather is cold or humid, the electronic protector should be aired for 3-6 hours every day, and 3-6 hours every week at other times, 1-2 times. There is no need to dry all the time (the battery needs to be taken out when it is dry). Hearing AIDS are electronic products after all, and too frequent drying can easily lead to hearing AIDS aging.
3) When washing your hair, taking a bath or swimming, take off your hearing aid before operating. If there is moisture and water in the ear canal, dry the external auditory canal with a cotton swab before wearing it.
There is another reason for the occasional absence and silence of sound in winter-hearing aid batteries. You are not mistaken, it is a hearing aid battery!
At present, the hearing aid battery used is zinc-air battery, and temperature is the biggest influence factor among all environmental factors. When the temperature drops, the electrode reaction rate of the battery also drops and the current decreases, so the machine will have a slight, silent and intermittent sound. In addition, low temperature will also reduce the utilization rate of battery capacity.
In the environment of 0, the battery capacity utilization rate is reduced by half, that is, the hearing aid that can normally be used for 10 days can only be used for 5 days now. High temperature has little effect on the capacity utilization rate of hearing aid batteries.
Another factor that affects the battery is humidity. If the relative humidity is too low, the electrolyte in the battery will slowly dry; When the relative humidity is too high, the internal system of the battery will store water. If the hearing aid battery is stored improperly, the internal environment of the battery will change, which will affect the normal use of the hearing aid.
