Biefeng Ancient Temple is a famous tourist destination for religious tourism in Chaozhou.

Chaozhou Buddhist temple. It is located to the east of Biefeng Mountain in Yixi Town, sitting east to west. The original name was "Tianhu Temple", which was first built in the Ming Dynasty. It was built several times and was renamed when it was rebuilt in the first year of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty (1862).

The whole temple is divided into three entrances: front, middle and back, with a width of five rooms. The front seat is the gate tower pavilion, the middle seat is the "Yuantong Hall", which is dedicated to Guanyin, and the back seat is the "Mahaxiong Hall", which is dedicated to Sakyamuni.

In front of the temple, there is a life-release pond with an area of ​​nearly 3,000 square meters. The water in the pond never dries up all year round. Every time the lotus blooms, the fragrance is overflowing and refreshing, making pilgrims and tourists feel relieved from the heat. The temple is surrounded by mountains and rivers, with scattered heights and is simple and dignified.
