Brief introduction of Beijing Yuanmingyuan
Yuanmingyuan is a large imperial garden in Qing Dynasty, located in Haidian District, People's Republic of China (PRC). It consists of Yuanmingyuan and its affiliated director, Chunyuan Garden and Qichun Garden (later renamed Wanchun Garden), so it is also called Yuanming Sanyuan.
Yuanmingyuan covers an area of 3.5 square kilometers with a building area of 200,000 square meters. It's huge, with 150 scenes. Known as "the garden of ten thousand gardens" and "the model of all gardening arts". Every summer, the imperial capital of Qing Dynasty comes here to escape the heat, listen to politics and deal with military and political affairs, so it is also called the Summer Palace. At present, only the site of Yuanmingyuan remains, which has been listed as a national key cultural relics protection unit.

1, Yaotai Site in Pengdao
Rugged boulders pile up into three islands, symbolizing the legendary three "fairy mountains" of Penglai, Yingzhou and abbot. Fuhai is the largest water surface in Yuanmingyuan, with more than ten beautiful gardens on its four banks.
2. There are no cave sites
There is a cave site, which is a garden with a precipice and a clear stream, scattered pavilions and elegant environment. Yong Zhengdi once ordered Taoist priests to make an alchemy here, and Emperor Qianlong and Emperor Jiaqing also had fun here. Now it has become a rare landscape garden.
3. Haitangtang
Haiyan Hall is the largest palace in each group of buildings of Xiyang Building, with the main building facing west. There is a big fountain under the steps in front of the temple. Around the fountain, there are bronze statues of 12 zodiac heads arranged in a figure of eight. According to the ancient timing method in China, animals spray water at 12 o'clock, and twelve bronze animals spray water at the same time at noon, commonly known as "hydraulic clock".

The Cinema is a very beautiful European-style hall, built on a very high platform, all made of white marble, with exquisite stones and carvings. This pavilion-like hall was built in Qianlong for forty-eight years. It has seventeen rooms and is the place where ChristianRandPhillips once lived.
5. Water observation method
Opposite Dashuifa is Shuiguan Law, which faces south. It is the place where the Qing emperors watched the Dashuifa Fountain. There is a throne on the stone platform in the middle of the water view method, and behind it is a large stone screen composed of five stone carvings engraved with western military flags, armor, swords and guns.
