Everything in Xilin Gol grassland is so fresh to me, and everything makes me so excited.
On the first day, I drove all the way to Xilinhot. I rushed out of the sultry cage in Beijing, and the sky became brighter as I walked. After Zhangbei entered Mongolia, the pure grassland scenery gradually emerged. Fortunately, we saw cloudy and sunny days on the grassland in just two days. On cloudy days, the cloud pressure on the grassland is very low and it moves very fast, which makes people feel that the cloud is within reach and the cloud smoke passes through the fingertips. Through the thick clouds, the setting sun shines obliquely on the hillside of grassland, making the vast grassland bright and dark, many-hued. It is this change of light and shadow that makes the grassland landscape richer and more mysterious. The west only has the light belt where heaven and earth meet. Suddenly, a fiery red sun appeared in the light belt and lit up the whole earth, and it moved below the horizon in just one minute. We marveled at the wonders of nature.
The next day, I drove to Darinot Lake. The sky cleared up and I saw the sun that I hadn't seen for many days. The air is so fresh that it smells of grass and earth everywhere. There are several white clouds floating in the sky. The endless grassland was illuminated by a touch of light green. Occasionally, a piece of bright yellow rape flowers will decorate the green space more colorful. At this time, the advertisement of "Nippon Paint" suddenly played in my mind over and over again. When I saw it, I thought the color of the advertisement was too exaggerated, but the scenery in front of me made me feel that the color was not gorgeous enough. "I really want to paint," I said excitedly. A small camera can't capture all the scenery. Photography, writing, oil painting and singing can no longer accurately express the mood at this time.
Grassland green is sometimes so single, only the blue sky and green space at the turn of heaven and earth. Ordinary aerial antenna, pasture fence, two big trees, winding paths leading to a secluded place, all became embellishments, and became the crowning touch on this empty Yuan Ye.

Such beautiful scenery really inspired people's creation. I stopped the car, ran to the hillside and sang all the Mongolian songs I could think of. I am a person who has psychological barriers to animals. I usually yell when I see cats and dogs in the city. This trip to Xilin Gol is my latest contact with animals.
The white sheep on the hillside in the distance is like a handful of rice scattered on the green land. The cows on the nearby grass are naive, black, brown, yellow, flowered and white. I dare not go near the cattle because I am dressed in red. Cows are the gentlest when crossing the expressway. Whenever you whistle in a hurry, I will walk slowly with measured steps.
The horse's fur sparkled in the sun, showing its strong muscles. When running, the horse's mane flutters with the wind, which is unparalleled in beauty. A pony born just a few days ago, its slender calf seems to be unable to support its body and cannot live without its mother.
The cattle and horses here are a little afraid of people. As soon as they get close, they will go there. Sheep are not afraid of people and will run to your feet and lick your shoes. Sitting on the quiet grassland and listening to the sound of sheep grazing around you is happier than eating anything.
There are only 20-30cm China roebuck in Lake Darinol, but the number cannot be counted. The fishermen by the lake caught one in three to five minutes, and they were very busy. Locals say they can catch up with 30 A Jin days.
The loveliest is kessel. When driving on the highway, you can often see squirrels walking on the road. Once I saw a weasel landing on its hind legs, its front legs curled up, standing straight, looking at the distance, as if watching the passing cars, ready to cross the road.
There is another beautiful scenery in Dali Lake in September, that is, birds. According to local people, birds that migrate south in winter will live here. There are also many varieties such as swan, red-crowned crane and white crane.
Xilingol prairie is really a paradise for animals.

Xilingol grassland is very cool, and the climate at this time is a bit like that after beginning of autumn. It's a little hot in the sun on a sunny day and very cold in the shadow. It's windy here, and you can see several windmills. The local people's black and red faces are the masterpieces of sunshine and wind. Most people wear long trousers during the day and cover them with thick quilts at night, otherwise they will freeze to death. Xilingol prairie is really a good place for summer vacation.
Living in a resort by the lake is a wise choice. Single-family cabins are built with great atmosphere. Reminds me of the yard where I lived in Thailand, sitting on the couch at the door eating tropical fruits, talking and talking, quiet and comfortable. Inside the wooden house is a standard room, which is not luxurious, but it is very convenient. There is no air conditioning and heating, and the resort is closed in winter. Standing in the yard, you can see someone riding a horse on the grassland. Across the sparkling Dali Lake, a row of people sat on the trestle to fish. White yurts beside the wooden houses are dotted with grasslands with more ethnic characteristics. You can see the sunrise on the lake when you lie in bed in the morning.
Self-driving is the most convenient way to travel in grassland. There is no clear destination, so you can park where you feel good. There are not many cars, so you can drive as fast as the expressway. Slow cows often cross the road and have to stop and pay attention. Weasel crossing the street also adds interest to driving on the grassland.
The local residents here are all brick houses, and yurts have become tourist facilities. There are piles of cow dung in front of the yard, which is their fuel. I also picked up two pieces of cow dung and a handful of soil from the grass. This is my personal idea: to travel somewhere, I want to take a handful of soil back as a souvenir and prepare to hold it in my arms.
Blue sky, white clouds and endless grasslands are dotted with yurts. This is a rare unpolluted Inner Mongolia prairie in the world.
