On the last day in Beijing, my father, grandmother and aunt visited Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City.
Tiananmen Gate is particularly conspicuous in the square. I saw the red flag flying on the rostrum, with the portrait of the chairman hanging in the middle, and two big characters written on both sides: Long live the people and the country of China! Long live the great unity of the people of the world! Behind Tiananmen Square is the Forbidden City, where ancient emperors and empresses lived. Particularly magnificent. In it, I saw many treasures made of jasper and gold, which were dazzling, but what attracted me most was the dragon chair where the emperor sat, which was beautifully carved, resplendent and beautiful. There is also a big garden in the Forbidden City called "Imperial Garden". I heard that many TV dramas and movies related to the court were shot here! During the visit, I noticed that there was a slope in the middle of the steps we walked, on which several dragons were carved with stones. This is the place where the emperor used to walk, but the place we walked was the passage taken by the former ministers, and the place where the emperor walked was not open.
The Forbidden City is a royal palace. I think it is so spectacular. I really want to live in this land of feng shui.

This summer, my parents and I traveled to Beijing by train. This is my first time to take a train. I looked at the scenery outside and went to another place in the blink of an eye.
When I came to Badaling Great Wall in Wan Li, I saw many tourists coming and going, and some tourists were climbing the Great Wall. According to my mother, climbing the eighth floor of the Great Wall is a hero. I also heard from Teacher Yao that the Great Wall is more than 20,000 meters, which was built during the Warring States Period. After listening to my mother and teacher Yao, the Great Wall was so long that I got up quickly and didn't rest for a while. I finally climbed to the eighth floor of the Great Wall. I proudly shouted on the eighth floor of the north: I am a hero, and my answer comes from Dashan.
We went to the Great Wall and ate Beijing's famous "Beijing Roast Duck". I can smell the roast duck floating in the distance. When I came to the roast duck restaurant, my mother bought a plate of hot roast duck. I couldn't help drooling, so I ate with my head stuffy. After eating, our whole family became "painting cats". I got it. I have climbed to the eighth floor of the Great Wall. I must be a hero!
Goodbye, Beijing. My parents and I reluctantly left Beijing on time by the late train.
I really enjoyed this trip to Beijing!

Beijing is the capital of our country and the place I yearn for most. This summer vacation has finally come true! I traveled to Beijing with the parents of several students in our class.
Beijing is an ancient and beautiful city. During several days' play, we visited Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Great Wall, Gongwangfu, Summer Palace, Yuanmingyuan, Bird's Nest, Water Cube and so on. They are so majestic, so spectacular and so rich in historical connotation. Among them, my favorite is Tiananmen Square.
Tiananmen Square is really big! There is heavy traffic around Tiananmen Square. I came to the square, with the Great Hall of the People on the left and the History Museum on the right. Right in front is Tiananmen Gate, resplendent and magnificent! Behind me is the Monument to the People's Heroes, which is very high and really looks like a giant. There is still a straight flagpole in Tiananmen Square. At the top of the flagpole, the five-star red flag flutters in the wind. How beautiful!
I would like to thank this trip, which brought me to our capital and gave me a better understanding of the history of China. I love Beijing, and I love the capital.
