Countryside bazi archway gatehouse

The Huizhou merchants who went out and the old Huizhou houses left behind are all antique Huizhou architecture. I personally prefer those undeveloped ancient villages to Xidihong Village. Although they are not well-known, the environmental sanitation and tourism conditions are not very good, but they are more aura, which is another spiritual shock to our occasional visitors.

I have been to many ancient villages in Huizhou before, and many beautiful ancient houses are left in my mind and my mobile phone. Nanping Ancient Village, located in yi county, Huangshan City, Anhui Province, is more than ten kilometers away from Hongcun Village and has a history of thousands of years. Because he has made many films such as Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Chrysanthemum Bean, The Great Turn, The Sin of Resurrection, it is called "China Film and Television Village".

In this village with many ancient buildings, there is an old house worth visiting, named Lingbing Pavilion. This house was built in Jiaqing 19, almost 200 years ago. The owner of the house is an official of Jiaqing dynasty, and the gatehouse is a eight-character gatehouse. Seen from the plane shape, the gate retreated inward by a certain distance, forming a figure of eight, which also symbolizes that the household has its own officials.

In addition to the eight-character gatehouse, the most peculiar thing is that there are nine layers of brick carvings carved on the gatehouse, each of which is exquisite and lifelike, which is rare in Huizhou. Moreover, the patterns of each layer of brick carving are different, and the patterns are smart and realistic. Common peony, chrysanthemum, plum blossom, etc. Leaves either stretch or curl. The work follows the requirements of "having a picture must be intentional and meaning must be auspicious". Whether it is flowers, birds, fish, insects or birds and animals, they all have beautiful wishes and rich expression techniques.

The gate is also very interesting. In fact, it is imported from abroad, and there is a trademark "raver" in the upper right corner of the gate. The door panel of the gate was covered with galvanized iron sheet, which was unique in the Qing Dynasty at that time. Thousands of rivets are used to arrange beautiful patterns on iron sheets. Through the gatehouse and gate of the house, we can see the cultural taste and wealth of the owner.

After crossing the gate, you arrive at the house, which is mainly composed of four parts: the gatehouse, the main hall, the slant hall and the cloister. As the old saying goes: Rome wasn't built in a day, and you can only be a master after suffering, so the owner named this place "Bingling Pavilion".

The room opposite the gatehouse is a traditional wooden door and window, but the glass on the window is not simple. It's hand-frosted glass, only 2mm thick, engraved with exquisite patterns. These glasses, like Damen, were imported from abroad and customized in Germany at that time. When you touch it with your hands, you will have a concave and convex feeling. Old glass like this is hard to see in other ancient houses in Huizhou, and it is basically an orphan.

The main hall, also called Whitehall, is a traditional wooden structure. Only when I entered the main hall did I know how magical Huizhou's wood carving technology was and how superb the woodworking technology was in the old society. The lintel, partition wall, window lattice, caisson, beam square, sparrow replacement, bucket arch and deep courtyard are all engraved with historical traces, showing the infinite charm of Huizhou folk houses to the world.

To tell the truth, the whole house can be said to be very well protected, basically there is no damage, and the second floor also maintains the old pattern. This house is full of fine products, plaques sealed by the emperor, German glass, entrance doors, and wood carving techniques in every place, which can be said to be cultural relics everywhere. You can imagine how difficult it would be to preserve it so well in that turbulent era. If you want to price this house, it will take at least several hundred million yuan to start.
