What is the meaning of "Yin Tonggen" in the eight characters?
Tonggen refers to revealing the roots of heavenly stems rooted in the earth. This root refers to the five elements in the earthly branches that are similar to heavenly stems, such as Jia Mu, including Yin Zhong Jia Mu and Mao Zhong You Mu, and the five elements that gave birth to heavenly stems, such as Jia Mu, in which there is water in the child and water in the ugly. Strictly speaking, the five elements of heavenly stems are not rooted, but after all, they were done on a certain day, so they increased the strength of heavenly stems and can also be classified as rooted heavenly stems.
Tonggen is very important for the exposed air. If the exposed heavenly stems do not have the roots of the earthly branches, they are void, have no strength, lose the power to generate grams for other branches, or have insufficient strength to generate grams for other branches.
Second, the characteristics of the same root
The same root can be divided into far and near. Trees have many roots, some long and some short. The water and nutrients absorbed by long roots are easily lost on the way, and there is little left on the trunk. However, the loss of short roots is not great on the way, but it is still more on the trunk. Similarly, there is a difference between distance and distance. The greater the root penetration force drawn by the stem near the root, the smaller the root penetration force drawn by the stem far from the root.
Strong roots pass through air roots, with the greatest strength, followed by middle roots and residual roots. The distance between roots directly affects the intensity of heavenly stems. The sitting branch is the closest, the septal branch is the second, and the septal branch is the second. If Tonggen is sitting on a branch, it is a dry branch, and the strength is relatively strong. Under normal circumstances, the five elements will be independent and it is difficult to succumb to the other five elements.
