Detailed data collection of Beidou Dian An Gong
Chinese name: The Palace of the Beidou Temple, also known as East Rome, was founded in the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty. Its predecessor is the former site of Tianhou Palace in Dongluo Street: Jiumei Village in Xizhou Township. Basic information, internal introduction, history, Dongluo Street period, Beidou Street period, new temple reconstruction, activities and basic information. At the end of Ming Dynasty and the beginning of Qing Dynasty, the ancestors of Dutai built the first ancient temple on the south bank of Dongluo River (old turbid water stream). However, in Jiaqing 10 (1805), Dongluo Street suffered from war. The following year, Luoxi flooded and the street view was almost destroyed. Chen, a military juror, and Yang Qiyuan, a literary juror, and other local gentry, in order to seek long-term management, found a treasure bucket of Gaoqiu River between Dongluoxi and Qingshuixi, and tested its natural turbidity and protection of Daxi. They regard this place as a thoroughfare between the north and the south, and share the benefits of river transportation with Dongluo, the old street. It was in Jiaqing 1 1 year (65438+) that the local gentry thought that there might be Wenchang Temple in Baodou Nanli, which was in line with the symbol of "the sixth star of Beidou". The rebuilt street is called "Beidou Street", and the gates are set in four directions, namely East Gate, West Gate, South Gate and North Gate. The streets criss-cross and repeatedly form a well shape, so it is called "the first urban planning street in Taiwan Province Province". During the Qing Dynasty, Beidou Street was the hub of Dongluoxi River, the leading inland commercial port in the Central Plains of Taiwan Province Province, and also the relay station for north-south business travel and landscape products. At that time, Qian Jie, Mazu Tempel was paved with red bricks, and there were many shops on the street. Sugar factories, dyehouses (Beidou was the center of dyeing and weaving industry in Taiwan Province in Qing Dynasty), oil mills, rice shops, mountain materials, etc., all walks of life stood shoulder to shoulder and prospered unprecedentedly; After nightfall, the first night market in Taiwan Province Province was born. Such a rich street scene can be listed as the four major cities in Taiwan Province Province along with Tainan Fucheng, Lugang and Mongga, which is based on the old saying "One government, two deer, three Mongolia and four treasures fight". However, ups and downs change frequently. During the Japanese occupation, the Japanese led the source of Dongluoxi to be diverted to Xiluoxi. Since then, the river transport function of Beidou Ferry Head has been lost. With the siltation of Dongluoxi river bed and the avoidance of railway, the situation of Beidou City is declining day by day, and the post-war administrative area is redefined. Beidou Street has changed from the administrative center of Zhang Nan to a general township, with its youth and sunset. Although Beidou Street is changeable, it is rich in cultural resources and has become an ancient city with stories everywhere. The most important historical relic in Mazu Tempel is the soft Mazu, which is regarded as "the treasure of bei dou zhen" locally. The soft Mazu statue is a precious cultural relic in the history of Mazu belief in Taiwan Province Province, which fully shows the characteristics of Mazu. Soft mom is shaped according to the proportion of human joints, and the whole body can move. Underwear and coat. She is dressed in an embroidered dragon robe and covered with three inches of golden lotus, which is very delicate. There are seven soft-bodied mothers over 100 years old in the Palace of the Beidou, which is the largest in Taiwan Province. With regard to the origin of these seven Mazu, except Kai Ji Ma (an old aunt), the other six soft-bodied Mazu are said to have been brought back when the Qing Dynasty went to the mainland to worship ancestors. In the shrine of the main hall of Mazu Hall in Centennial Town Hall, the central sage is the mother of the town hall carved in the period of Beidou Street (Jiaqing1kloc-0/moving to Beidou Street), which has a history of more than 200 years. At present, it is the town hall of Mazu, the new hall of Dian 'an Palace. In addition to the main hall, the Guanyin Buddha in the Millennium Shenmu Dian 'an Palace is dedicated to Guanyin Buddha on the second floor of the back hall. This 4-meter-high carved Guanyin Buddha statue is said to be the largest carved Guanyin statue in Southeast Asia. It is carved from cypress trees with a tree age of about 65,438+0,700 years produced in the mountains of Taiwan Province Province. The statue is solemn and solemn, and it is a very special cultural relic of Dian 'an Palace. Wenchang Temple of Wu Wenchang Fuzi Luo Qing Academy was founded in the eighth year of Jiaqing (1803). Originally, it was the belief center of scholars in the Big Beidou area, but it was in disrepair for a long time. At present, there are five Wenchang memorial tablets placed in Wenchang Hall of Dian 'an Palace. This tablet is painted with red lacquer, and the inscription "Master Wu Wenchang's Divine Position" is written in gold. Historical Dongluo Street Period During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Beidou's ancestors came to Taiwan Province across the ocean. In order to ensure that they completely crossed Heishuigou (Taiwan Province Strait) and even Meizhou Tianhou Palace, they respectfully drove Mazu, who was soft in the Lingdian, to escort them to Taiwan Province. After the ancestors entered the old society of Dongluo (around Jiumei Village and Zhenliao Village in Xizhou Township), they developed successfully and founded the "Tianhou Palace" during the reign of Kangxi. As for the date of the establishment of the Tianhou Palace in Dongluo Street, the first book of Zhou Taizhong Temple, under the title of "Dian 'an Palace (Mazu Palace)" in Beidou Street, was recorded as May of the 57th year of Kangxi (17 18), while the Dian 'an Palace Temple, which was published earlier, claimed to have been established in the 23rd year of Kangxi (168). According to the formation of the Han settlement in Dongluo Street, there is a corresponding saying that there were temples built during the reign of Kangxi. However, the scale of temples in the grass-roots period should not be large, and then with the formation of Dongluo Street, the Tianhou Palace in Dongluo Street gradually developed and expanded. As far as Taiwan Province Province is concerned, Mazu Tempel Dongluo Tianhou Temple is one of the few temples built in Kangxi period. As far as South Changhua is concerned, it has the longest history and can be called Mazu Palace in South Zhang Kai. During the period of Beidou Street, in Jiaqing 1 1 year (1806), Dongluo Street collapsed due to floods, military disasters and struggles among other clans, and Chen and Wen Qiyuan explored treasures. After seeing Mazu, they chose a "Baodou" Gaokang River between Dongluo River and Qingshui River. At the beginning of the establishment of Beidou Street, considering the stability of the people, we bought cultivated land in front of the street center, rebuilt Mazu Tempel, and expanded Beidou Street with Mazu Tempel as the center. After the completion of Mazu Tempel, local gentry saw frequent military disasters and floods, hoping that under the protection of Mazu, the street people would live and work in peace and contentment from now on, so they renamed Tianhou Palace Dian 'an Palace. Because Beidou Mazu Tempel was moved from Dongluo Street, the villagers of Xizhou Jiumei (the former site of Dongluo Street) dedicated the second pillar of the roof to Mazu when rebuilding Dian 'an Palace. Therefore, whenever all localities go to Beidou Mazu Tempel to register Mazu in the future, only believers in Jiumei Village can ask God at will, without queuing, which shows the close relationship between Jiumei Village in Xizhou and Dian 'an Palace. During the Jiaqing period, our ancestors moved to Baodu, and at the beginning of building the street, they also began to plan to rebuild Mazu Tempel in Dian 'an Palace. Due to the urgent need and limited funds, the reconstructed Mazu Tempel has only one temple, which is simple in appearance, with few complicated sculptures, but it has a unique flavor. This quaint temple appearance reflects the hardships of starting a business at that time and records the history of blood and tears pioneered by our ancestors. Therefore, "Dian 'an Palace Ancient Temple" has a long history, which is mixed with the hard work of ancestors and the support of * * * spirit, and it is the historical memory and local emotional projection of bei dou zhen people. This antique temple was listed as a national third-class historic site in 72 (1983) because there were not many treasures in Taiwan Province. Because it is difficult to establish Dian 'an Palace, there was only one temple in the early days. In the seventh year of Tongzhi (1868), Chen Zuozhou, a scholar, proposed to build it with dragons on both sides, thus completing the appearance of Dian 'an Palace Ancient Temple. Reconstruction of the new temple in 63 years of the Republic of China (1974), the local government proposed to build the housi, which lasted 10 years and was completed in 74 years of the Republic of China (1985). When the Houdian was built, the ancient temple in front of Dian 'an Palace was listed as a national third-class monument because of its quaint appearance. However, due to disrepair and safety considerations, the Dian 'an Palace Management Committee had the idea of rebuilding a new temple, and asked the Ministry of the Interior to re-evaluate it and cancelled the appraisal of the monument. On the other hand, there is another voice of preserving historical sites in the local area. It is considered that Dian 'angong Ancient Temple is of great significance to the descendants of Beidou and cannot be demolished or moved to other places. At that time, someone put forward a compromise plan, suggesting the adoption of the "temple in the temple" approach, which can not only expand the scale of the temple, but also preserve the historical sites. Finally, under the leadership of the management committee and local politicians, in 77 (1988), Dian 'an Palace was cancelled as a historic site and the ancient temple was moved to a folk village in Taiwan Province Province. In 78 (1989), the foundation stone was laid for the new museum project. The former museum was built in 14, and was selected in 92 (2003). Activities: Mazu makes a pilgrimage to Mazu Tempel. The third month of the lunar calendar is the month when Mazu was born. It is quite common for delegations from all over the country to make a pilgrimage to famous places. In the past, Beidou Street was the transportation hub of the north-south waterway. Therefore, most incense groups from all over the province will pass Beidou Street and visit Mazu Tempel in Dian 'an Palace, which was the belief center of all the streets and villages in southern Zhang Nan. Teams from all over the country attended the ceremony to welcome Mazu, so the area around Dian 'an Palace was always crowded with worshippers. At present, the largest pilgrimage group to and from Beidou Street is Mazu in Langong, Dajia Town. This pilgrimage team, which lasted for more than 100 years, will cross Beidou Street the next day and make a short stop at Huayan Temple, Dian 'an Palace and the ferry head of Qixingqiao. On the sixth day of returning to the north, everyone came to Beidou Street again. It was the temple in the town that accompanied everyone to drive around Beidou Street, and firecrackers came and went, which was very lively. That night, Aunt Dajia spent the night in Dian 'an Palace as usual. The alley near Mazu Tempel is crowded with night market vendors, which seems to be a city that never sleeps. It was the busiest time of the year in bei dou zhen, and it also pushed the grand occasion of "March Bao Dou welcomes Mazu" to the peak. Beidou Street in Dian 'an Palace, surnamed Xi, is a very busy street, with a constant stream of passers-by. Therefore, many believers often gather in Dian 'an Palace near Mazu Tempel, and many teams welcome Mazu in various places. Because Dian 'an Palace is the most iconic temple in southern Zhang Nan, all the suburban clansmen with Beidou Street as the center will form a sacrificial group to pay homage during Christmas in Mazu. According to the field investigation during the Japanese occupation, there were sacrifice groups such as automobile group, ice selling group, vegetable merchant group and clan associations of various surnames, among which Chen, Lin, Xie, Xu, Yang, Wang, Liu and Qiu were all free men. At that time, the chef chose a day to meet Mazu at the meeting, returned to Dian 'an Palace with sacrifices, paid homage to his birthday, and hired Bu 'an Palace. However, in recent years, with the changes of society and business model, clan associations of various surnames have disintegrated one after another, and now the Dian 'an Palace surname drama has declined. Guanyin Buddha Festival is held every June 19 of the lunar calendar. When Guanyin Bodhisattva becomes a Buddha, Dian 'an Palace will hold a celebration and award scholarships to outstanding students in the town to show the compassion of Guanyin Buddha. Since 1997, in Changhua County, combined with the strength of the private and public sectors, * * * held a joint visit to Mazu in the county to promote the development of tourism economy with religion and art and give Mazu culture a brand-new vitality. It is jointly handled by the temples such as An Palace in Beidou Hall, Nanyao Palace in Changhua, Fuhai Palace in Wang Gong, Fuhai Palace in Wang Gong, Fuan Palace in Shenzhen and Hong Kong, Bozuoji in Branch Garden, Funing Palace in Yuanlin, Tianmen Palace in Qiaotou, Gande Palace in Tanaka, Hexing Palace in Daitou, Renhe Palace in Erlin and Putian Palace in Fiona Fang, and it is selected to be handled once before and after the ascension day of Mazu Road (the ninth day of the ninth lunar month).
