Starting from 2000, the Forest Concert will follow the practices of the Forest Theater in Berlin, Germany, and comprehensively upgrade the stage rainproof facilities. Under normal rainfall and other non-extreme weather conditions, Normal performances will not be transferred to the indoor theater.
According to the stage shape characteristics of the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum Music Station, a transparent plastic isolation shed covering the span of the stage was built in the stage area above Crescent Pond. When rainy weather arrives, the circular ceiling on top of the lighting wall is lowered . The transparent isolation booth has a novel shape and transparent texture, allowing the audience to still see the orchestra performing on rainy days.
In order to ensure the sound effect of the performance, some audio equipment will be added on site to reduce sound loss. In addition, free raincoats will be distributed to the audience on rainy days.
In the event of extreme weather such as typhoon or heavy rain, a transfer announcement will be made on the morning of the performance. The transition location is the Variety Hall of Jiangsu Grand Theater, and the performance time remains unchanged.
In addition, a transfer notice will be placed at the main entrance of Zhongshan Scenic Area, and audience members who have not received the venue adjustment information will be taken to Xiamafang Subway Station and take the subway to Jiangsu Grand Theater.
It is worth mentioning that starting this year, Zhongshan Scenic Area will continue to explore derivative businesses with music as the core, and plans to open a "Forest Music House" to showcase previous Nanjing Forest Concerts through multimedia means. , hold a cultural exchange master class, show the wonderful moments of the concert on the green plank road, and make the music station truly one of the beautiful city cards of the Philharmonic City.
