Where is the stairwell for building houses in rural areas?

Stairs are best built in the auspicious position of the house. Houses with different orientations have different auspicious orientations. For example, our house faces south, and the stairs will be built in the east. If the house faces west, the stairs should be built in the southwest. If the house faces southeast and northwest, then we'd better build the stairs in the west.
