National temperature ranking
In this list, in addition to the "stove cities" that are almost associated with high temperature every year, such as An, Zhengzhou, Hefu and Jinan, there are cities farther north, such as Tianjin, Shijiazhuang and Yinchuan, and of course there are unexpected cities, such as Lhasa. Because this list is based on the surface temperature value on June 20, it is not universal and can only reflect the instantaneous situation.
It is predicted that in midsummer (July-August), China's climate situation is relatively average, with obvious periodic droughts and floods, more extreme weather and climate events, and greater intraseasonal climate variability.
The main rain areas are located in the southeast, north China, east of northwest China, north of east China, north of central China, most of south China, most of southwest China and southern Tibet. There are many heavy precipitation processes in these areas, and the flood disaster is more serious. There is less precipitation in Xinjiang, the western part of northwest China, the south-central part of East China and Central China, and there may be staged meteorological drought. The number of high-temperature days in Xinjiang, East China and Central China is more than normal, and there will be staged high-temperature heat waves.
