A major feature of rural house building is to design steps in front of the door. Why is this?
Due to the relatively empty land, modern rural residences are mainly designed as duplex residences, generally two- and three-story residences. These homes have relatively deep foundations. Therefore, the height between the front of the house and the ground is usually about one meter higher. This kind of house is the most common type of villa, and it encounters a gap. There must be other designs.
At the entrance of a country villa, the two most commonly seen designs for upper and lower spaces are slopes and steps. Today, the effect of counter-urbanization is also quite significant in many areas. Rural small houses close to resorts or scenic spots are often the best places for some elderly people to choose to live and live after retirement. After all, the food in the countryside is clean and the air is fresh. New, no dangerous traffic, more suitable for safety. Therefore, house designers will also encounter the problem of making good use of the slope in front of the door, and this is a good step.
1. Step Feng Shui
The pace of Feng Shui lies in the relationship between its origin and compound, and its level of Feng Shui, both of which are closely related to family Feng Shui.
(1) The steps should not be facing the door, that is, the gate exit should not be adjusted. There should be at least a transition area, and then the steps should be designed. Otherwise, walking out of the steps directly will affect the Feng Shui atmosphere of the entire family. After all, the steps of the stairs are opposite to the door, which is a Feng Shui taboo in itself and can easily damage the physical and mental health of Feng Shui residents.
(2) The steps should not be in the center of the house. In many courtyard-style rural residences, we can often see that the upper part is a courtyard-style garden design, and the lower part is a duplex. The left and right sides are different, which gives it the flavor of the old Peking courtyard. The corridor of the main entrance is from the center of the whole house, which is an evil spirit that creates an air of taking over the owner and affects the whole house. The lifeblood of family life.
(3) The number of stairs has a lot to do with Feng Shui. I believe everyone can understand it well. Since ancient times, China has had taboos on some homophonic numbers, such as "4", "death", etc. Therefore, the design of stairs should not be four floors, nor should it be higher than six floors, otherwise it will be dangerous and easily damage the physical and mental health of the owners.
Two. Feng Shui Slope
Slopes were rarely used in ancient times, but they are very important in modern decoration. In rural areas, motorcycles, bicycles and battery vehicles are still one of the more convenient means of transportation. If placed outdoors, the service life will be greatly shortened. Therefore, it needs to be placed indoors and provided with up and down slopes indoors.
(1) Like steps, the slope should not face the bottom of the door, but a flat area needs to be left as a transition, otherwise it will easily affect the health of the owner.
(2) The slope should not be too steep, also for safety reasons. At the same time, from the perspective of Feng Shui, the slope in front of the door can, to a certain extent, smooth out the evil spirits in the Feng Shui eyes from the outside world entering the home door, and can also promote harmony between people. However, if it is too steep, it can easily cause Feng Shui backflow.
(3) When designing the slope, you need to place several Five Emperors copper coins at the bottom of the slope. From the perspective of Feng Shui, it can be said to ward off evil spirits to a certain extent. I believe many people will invest a few Five Emperors copper coins in the design of the porch threshold, which is also applicable.
Which one is better? In fact, both designs have pros and cons. Feng shui aside, from a practical point of view, slopes are best. If the stage level at the entrance of the house is relatively small, with only about 1 meter of space, a slope can be designed. The slope should not be greater than 45°. If the steps in the house are long, you can add 6-7 meters, and then design a slope of 1 meter, and the rest are steps. If all the steps are designed with slopes, it will be difficult to see during decoration, and the practicality will be very good. Not high. The number of steps should be 2, 3, 5 and 6. The steps should be wider.
