Large-scale heavy rainfall has begun in the south. How much is the thirst precipitation in Henan and Anhui?

It is early June, and China has entered the rainy season, which means that there will be more and more heavy rainfall in the south of China. Moreover, the current wave of heavy rainfall covers a very wide range, with at least ten provinces.

Moreover, the cumulative rainfall in some areas of these provinces is unprecedented, and it is expected to exceed 400 mm, which is the first 1 wave of heavy rainfall in southern provinces since the summer of 2020. Friends in the south have taken precautions and started to deal with it.

Then, there will be no precipitation in Henan and Anhui provinces in arid areas. What is the precipitation? Will the drought have eased since May?

There is abundant rainfall in southern Anhui, but most parts of Henan are still dry.

Judging from the current weather situation, it is still a state of drinking showers in the south and sitting and watching in the north. Specifically, there is sufficient rainfall in the south and insufficient rainfall in the north. After the strong convective weather, there will be local and short-term heavy rainfall in Henan and Anhui at most. As for continuous rainy days, it won't rain in Henan and Anhui provinces.

According to the meteorological data of the Central Meteorological Observatory, it is predicted that there will be obvious short-term heavy rainfall in five provinces and cities such as eastern Hebei, Beijing, Tianjin, southern Liaoning and central and northern Shandong in early June, and some of these areas will be accompanied by 8- 10 gale or hail weather, so the summer weather in northern China is also difficult to predict.

In addition to the above-mentioned northern areas, eight provinces will experience short-term heavy rainfall. They are part of Qinghai, Chongqing, Hunan, Jiangxi, Fujian, Guizhou, Guangxi and Guangdong.

Therefore, this rain is threatening and imposing, not only covering a wide area, but also with great intensity.

Anhui and Henan provinces, which we are concerned about, have become Xanadu. Judging from the CCTV weather forecast, Henan has almost no connection with rainfall, so it is a bystander.

However, most parts of Anhui are still lucky. Although large-scale rainfall is concentrated in the south of the Yangtze River basin, Anhui is not as miserable as Henan. At least it will rain in southern Anhui. It can be seen from the basic rainfall that there may be a large-scale rainfall in half of Anhui Province in early June. Among them, the strongest cumulative rainfall will reach 200mm/month and 400mm, and the precipitation in some areas will be greater. It is not impossible to reach 100 mm and 200 mm respectively.

However, when it rains in southern Anhui, northern Anhui can only watch, because in the first half of June, there was basically no rain in northern Anhui, and it was about to pass by.

Moreover, when forecasting the weather, the Central Meteorological Observatory specially reminded that there may be geological disasters in southern Anhui, so it can be judged that there is more rainfall in Anhui than in Henan, and the rainfall is not at all a level.

There has been no precipitation in Henan and Anhui for a long time.

If we look through the meteorological data, it is not difficult to see that there is little rain in Henan. For at least one month, there was no decent rain in the whole province, only partial and short-term sporadic rain. Even if there is decent rainfall, it is within the range of 10 mm to 50 mm. If we observe the precipitation in Henan in late May, it is even less optimistic, and there is almost no large-scale rainfall. According to meteorological data, the precipitation in Henan during this period is only 0. 1 mm to 10 mm, and the rainfall in northern Anhui is pitiful.

In contrast, southern Anhui is lucky, with precipitation 100 mm to 200 mm, so overall, compared with Henan, Anhui has more average precipitation, while Henan has less.

So in general, Henan province is in a state of drought, half of Anhui province belongs to arid areas, and most of Henan province and parts of Anhui province still belong to drought.

From this year's rainfall distribution trend chart, it is not difficult to see that there is more rainfall at the north and south ends, and it decreases in the middle, so the rainfall distribution is uneven, which has been the case for many years.

To sum up, it is unlikely that large-scale rainfall will occur in most parts of Henan and northern Anhui in the next two months, and it will remain dry. According to historical experience, the real rainy season in these areas will not come until July.

However, at present, the wheat harvest in Huanghuai area, that is, northern Anhui and most parts of Henan, is tight, and too much rainfall is not helpful for summer harvest. Let's wait patiently. Whether it rains or not depends on the future weather trend.
