When will Nanjing Metro Line 9 be completed?

According to the information of Kuaide Encyclopedia, Nanjing Metro Line 9 is a line under construction in Nanjing metro network. The first phase of the project officially started on March 8, 2020 and is scheduled to open to traffic in 2024. The color of the sign is orange, and the total length of the project is19.7km, all of which are underground.

The first phase of Metro Line 9 starts from Hongshan Xincheng Station in the north and passes through Xuanwu District, Gulou District and jianye district. The line runs along Hongshan South Road and Jianning Road to the west, turns to Hexi New City in Xiaguan Station to the south, and reaches Constitution Square Station of Jiangsu Grand Theatre in the south, showing an inverted L shape as a whole.
