Brief introduction of Beiyang River

Liang Qingshan, the source of Beiyang River, at the junction of Qingzhou and Linzi, rugged rocks and stubborn rocks cluster into peaks, just like a huge bonsai, placed on the top of the mountain. There are many springs at the foot of Liang Qingshan. Over the years, the water flows for dozens of miles. It crosses the peaks eastward and gathers into a river in front of Lianhua Mountain. The terrain in front of Lianhua Mountain is open, and there is Guguang County by the river. Guangxian County was a fief of Liu Bangzhao, a hero of the Han Dynasty. Zhao Ou, a famous soldier in the early Han Dynasty, was born in Yanhou, Feng Guang County. Guangxian, the earliest city in ancient Qingzhou, has a superior geographical position and is the political, economic and cultural center in Qingzhou history.
