Are there many people traveling to Mount Emei in winter?
Precautions:
Cold protection: The highest altitude of Mount Emei is 3,099 meters, and the relative height is more than 2,500 meters (Mount Emei at the foot of the mountain is only 420 meters above sea level). The vertical difference is great, and the temperature is often about 10℃ lower than that at the foot of the mountain. Therefore, climbers need to prepare for the cold early (Jinding also has cotton-padded clothes for rent).
Rain protection: Emei Mountain has low clouds and heavy fog. It rains in Mao Mao all day, so climbers should prepare corresponding rain gear (preferably plastic film raincoat).
Non-slip: Some sections of Mount Emei are very slippery and dangerous, so tourists should pay special attention to safety, and it is not advisable to wear bare and hard-soled shoes.
Tour groups participating in the one-day tour of Emei Mountain must ask about the tour route, because there are local lines A and B. Line A only plays Jinding, and Line B plays Wannian Temple, Bailong Cave, Yin Qing Pavilion, Yixiantian and Monkey Playing Area in Zhongshan District. It takes about two to three days to visit Mount Emei comprehensively.
There are unlicensed tour guides and licensed tour guides in the local area. The unlicensed tour guide will be caught by the inspectors, and then a licensed tour guide will be sent, which will delay the tour time.
It takes about two and a half hours to go up the mountain by car, and the destination is "Dong Leiping", not "Jinding". Walk from Dongleiping to Jinding 15 Li. Special attention: don't rent a coat in Dong Leiping, it will increase your burden of climbing.
