The distance between the 28 stars in India is uneven.
Twenty-eight constellations divided by ancient astronomers in China to observe the movements of the sun, the moon and the five stars are composed of seven constellations: Oriental Dragon, Southern Suzaku, Western White Tiger and Northern Xuanwu.
In ancient China, the ancients looked up at the starry sky near the ecliptic and divided the astrology near the ecliptic into several regions, which were called Twenty-eight Hostages. It is divided into four palaces: East, South, West and North, with seven nights in each palace, and the seven nights belonging to each palace are imagined as an animal, which is thought to be "the four spirits of heaven and square".
The ancients successively chose 28 stars near the equator of the ecliptic as coordinates. Because they revolve around the sun, the moon and the five stars, they are very similar to the places where the sun, the moon and the five stars live, so they are called twenty-eight lodgings. Twenty-eight stars are used to represent the positions of the sun, the moon and five stars.
As an important part of China's traditional culture, the Twenty-eight Stars are widely used in ancient astronomy, religion, literature, astrology, geomantic omen, lucky choice and so on. Different fields give it different connotations, and the related content is very complicated.
Observation method:
In ancient times, in order to observe the movements of the sun, the moon and the five planets (gold, wood, water, fire and earth), people chose 28 constellations near the ecliptic and the equator as symbols, collectively called 28 constellations or 28 stars. Horn, sound, rafter, house, heart, tail and dustpan constitute the image of a dragon. The vernal equinox season is in the eastern sky, so it is called the Seven Nights of Oriental Qinglong.
Fighting, ox, female, air, danger, house and wall, these seven stars form a group of images intertwined with turtles and snakes. The vernal equinox season is in the northern sky, so it is called the seven nights of Xuanwu in the north; Kui, Lou, Wei, Chang, Bi, Gou and Shen, these seven stars form the image of a tiger. The spring equinox season is in the western sky, so it is called the seven nights of the western white tiger. Well, ghosts, willows, stars, Zhang, wings and birds, these seven stars make up the image of a bird. The spring equinox season is in the southern sky, so it is called South Suzaku for seven nights.
The four animal images composed of the above seven nights are collectively called four elephants, four dimensions and four beasts. The ancients used the appearance and arrival times of the four elephants and the twenty-eight stars to judge the seasons.
