fire alarm
Early warning, less loss. In case of fire, call the police at once. Where there is no telephone, take active measures and report directly to the public security organ or the fire department. If there is a phone call, dial "1 19" to call the police quickly. Pay attention to the following points when giving an alarm:
1, specify the location and unit; 2. Give us your phone number so that the fire brigade can check the situation at any time, keep people after calling the police, and immediately send someone to meet the fire truck at the intersection; 3. Try to find out what is on fire and the scope of the fire; 4. Please call "855 15920" for emergency rescue of liquefied petroleum gas and pipeline gas.
Use of fire extinguishers
Fire extinguisher is the most commonly used fire extinguishing equipment, and there are many kinds of fire extinguishers, such as carbon dioxide fire extinguisher, dry powder fire extinguisher, 12 1 1 fire extinguisher, etc.
1. Application scope of dry powder fire extinguisher: it is suitable for putting out the initial fire of petroleum and its products, combustible gas and electrical equipment.
Usage: Lift the fire extinguisher to the fire place, turn it up and down several times, unplug the lead seal and safety pin, close to the fire source, hold the nozzle tightly with your left hand and aim at the root of the flame, and press the handle with your right hand to spray dry powder.
2. Scope of application of carbon dioxide fire extinguisher: it is suitable for fighting the initial fire of books and files, expensive equipment, precision instruments, a small amount of oil and other general substances.
Usage: Lift the fire extinguisher to the fire place, pull out the safety pin and get close to the fire source. Hold the trumpet in the left hand and aim at the root of the flame, and press the knob in the right hand to make the carbon dioxide spray out (to prevent frostbite when using the carbon dioxide fire extinguisher).
3. 12 1 1 scope of application: it is suitable for fighting fires such as oil, organic solvents, combustible gases, precision instruments and cultural relics.
Usage: Lift the fire extinguisher to the fire place (don't put it flat or upside down), unplug the lead seal and safety pin, close to the fire source, hold the nozzle tightly with your left hand and aim at the root of the flame, and press the handle with your right hand to spray the extinguishing agent.
Electrical fire prevention
Fires of household appliances are often caused by short circuit, overload operation and excessive contact resistance of household appliances. To do a good job in electrical fire prevention, we should pay attention to the following points:
1, the household electric meter shall be greater than 10 amp, and a leakage protection switch shall be installed; 2, the installation of the power cord should be carried out in strict accordance with the installation specifications, prohibit non-electrical personnel to install, it is forbidden to pull and connect; 3. If wires, switches and sockets are found to be worn or aged, they should be replaced in time; 4. Don't use multiple electrical appliances on the same socket at the same time. High-power electrical appliances should be powered by special lines; 5, safe use of all kinds of electrical equipment, and do not leave electricity; 6, electrical decoration should choose qualified products identified by the fire department, wires hidden in the wall or ceiling should be protected by steel pipes or hard plastic pipes, switches and sockets should be avoided on boards or other flammable materials; 7. Fluorescent lamps should use low-temperature ballasts with qualified quality, and the ballasts with rising temperature should not be directly fixed on the combustible ceiling, and their capacitance must be consistent with the lamp; 8, electrical fire, should be cut off before the fire power switch, in order to prevent electric shock.
Safe use of liquefied petroleum gas
Civil liquefied petroleum gas is divided into bottled and pipeline. It is usually stored in liquid form at room temperature and high pressure. It is a flammable and explosive toxic gas. Once people accidentally leak gas and encounter a fire source, a fire or explosion will occur. Therefore, people must pay attention to safe use.
1, cylinders filled with liquefied petroleum gas must be stored in the kitchen that meets the safety regulations, and a safe distance of more than 1 meter should be kept between the cylinders and the stoves. Other stoves (fire sources) cannot be placed indoors at the same time, and good ventilation conditions should be maintained; 2. When using liquefied petroleum gas, someone must take care of it; 3, indoor liquefied petroleum gas furnace, water heater, pay attention to ventilation and exhaust, to prevent carbon dioxide poisoning and excessive accumulation of liquefied petroleum gas leakage caused by explosion. If the ignition fails for many times, stop for a moment, and then re-ignite after the leaked liquefied petroleum gas escapes, so as to prevent the mixture of liquefied petroleum gas and air from reaching the explosion concentration and causing explosion; 4. Always check whether the rubber hose is aging or broken, check whether the joint between the angle valve and the pressure reducing valve is leaking, and replace it in time when problems are found; 5. When using bottled liquefied petroleum gas, the gas cylinder must be upright, and it is not allowed to be placed horizontally or upside down, so as to prevent the pressure reducing valve from losing its pressure reducing efficiency and causing fire hazards; 6. Users who use pipeline liquefied petroleum gas shall not modify the pipeline without authorization; 7. In case of liquefied petroleum gas leakage, close the angle valve in time, open the doors and windows immediately, and strengthen ventilation to make liquefied petroleum gas escape. Do not touch the power supply, electrical switch or ignition lighting for inspection; 8. The residual liquid (slag) in the gas cylinder shall be uniformly recovered by the filling unit, and users are prohibited from handling it without authorization.
Fire escape and self-help
When a fire breaks out, if someone is trapped by the fire, they should first organize their forces to implement the principle of "saving people first, saving people and putting out the fire simultaneously" and actively rescue them. Trapped people should keep a cool head, don't panic, choose the best self-help plan according to the fire, and strive for time to get out of the danger zone. This paper introduces several self-help methods to escape from fire.
1. Under normal circumstances, the safety net must have an escape hatch, and the escape hatch key should be placed in a fixed and easily accessible place to facilitate escape; 2. After a fire, don't delay your precious escape time by looking for money for clothes. Evacuate from the safe passage, exit and fire stairs as soon as possible. Don't run around blindly or use the elevator to escape. 3. Don't walk upright when you run away from the fire. Walk as low as possible or crawl forward, and cover your nose and mouth with a wet towel to avoid being suffocated by smoke; 4. When the stairs are on fire, but they haven't been burned out, and the fire is not very fierce, you can put on clothes or sheets soaked in water and rush down the stairs quickly. When the stairs have been burnt out and the fire is quite fierce, you can use a rope or tear the sheets into strips to connect them, tie one end to a solid door, window or other heavy object, and then slide down along the rope or cloth (residents above the third floor should be careful); 5. When all kinds of escape routes are cut off, you should go back to your room, take smoke and fire prevention measures, close the doors and windows, water them, cover your nose and mouth with a wet towel, and do a good job of personal protection. At the same time, you should wave bright things outdoors (you can use a flashlight at night) and send out a distress signal; 6. When escaping, once the clothes are burned, the burned person can fall down and roll on the spot, put out the flame on his body, or be helped by others to put out the fire. Remember not to run.
